Goood goood
István Barna this is a great fucking comment! 😂
If you heat up the EVA foam and press in some crumpled up tin foil it can simulate those leather wrinkles you’re going for
Omg that opening had me wheezing! "Hmm" "hmmm" "hmmfuck"
I feel this so hard. I'm in the process of making the game costume from Witcher 3.
Keeping it under budget? You're already thinking like a Witcher Chris
I haven’t played or watched the Witcher but you’ll nail this
I love the Witcher and have wanted to cosplay Geralt for so long, I'm glad to see your doing it, can't wait to see how it turns out.
Watching you talk about your work continues to have me in awe of you
Can’t wait to follow along with this build as I too am working on a Geralt cosplay myself. As a professional Cavill Superman cosplayer it was the next logical cosplay for myself.
Literally thought you'd do a killer Geralt when watching the series!
This cosplay is going to be class, excited to see the journey!
"Hobo Cousin It" 😂😂😂
Looking forward to seeing the incredible pieces you'll create!
I have been playing the Witcher 3 for the whole day and i took a break and when i came back i saw this and started watching immediatly.
Your Polish fans are gonna go bonkers, Witcher is like our national treasure. I know you are gonna nail it and it will be a treat watching you go through the process. Good luck!
Oh for the rivets - how about paper fasteners, spray them white and if needed you could take a hammer/mallet to them (to see if it makes them more screen accurate)
Not bad of a plan for the cosplay, I’m looking forward to the next episode and other cosplays you have coming up in the future.
Love the idea, personal preference I'd do the game medallion, but that's just me.
omg I can't wait to see the final result
I really wanna thank you for sharing so much detail about your cosplay, the materials, and the process. It’s so helpful to people like me who have less experience. I’m currently working on a Geralt cosplay myself. I’ve never built armor before using foam. Your method is so incredibly easy and practical I love it!
I started watching for the the first time today at lunch here in the States, and all I saw was YOU drinking that beer, and YOU talking to the sorcerer, and YOU talking to your horse....between you n me, I bet you would have done it better. Great content Mate, keep it up!
Good to be back
Thank you so much for the shot out!!! I cannot wait to see it finished!
OMG I can't wait to see you work on this. I just know you're going to do an amazing job! :D
Am gonna be interested to see how you go making armour out of cheaper materials. I loved your pirate Batman but it looked like it cost a fortune
With regards to the medallion make a mold of the print and cold cast a copy with metal powder mixed into the resin you can then buff the surface with wire wool.
Crafsman has a video on this, very detailed and great to watch!
First time catching a video right after upload! Keep up the great work!
Cannot wait to see this, best of luck to you 👍
nice 😄👍 I cannot wait for the next episode
I’m so glad you’re doing this! I’ve been debating doing the same my self! Even going as far as to grow my hair as I’m pale with bright eyes! I might follow your footsteps as you go! I’ve got the sword down, forged it in uni! Keep it up pal! Can’t wait for this!
Nice, so what are you gonna do about the rest?
Mad lad! Keep it up!
In terms of getting the leather texture on foam, if you crumple some tinfoil a bit and press it into the foam while it's a bit warm, it should leave the imprint of the texture, which with the right paint job looks like leather. I've had some success with that, but I'm not sure about it on thicker foam. It would be worth a shot though
Greetings from Poland!!! Good Luck! :)
Famous last words: "We've got a sh*tload of time" :-P
I'm doing the same thing but using thick neutral coloured leather as the base layer that I have laying about
That idea of using the hair on a mask sounds so fuckinh cool do it asap🔥
Chris...you potty mouth! You dropped the F-bomb! How could you?!? Lol!!! 😄😋😄 I can't wait to see more on the creation of this cosplay.
Hi Chris You really inspire me I just wanna say I love your work and I know you probably won’t read this but I would love to tell you my cosplay line up for 2020 I am only 12 so I haven’t been cosplaying for much time but I think I have improved a lot here’s my list:
1. Wally west flash (rebirth)
2. Batman beyond
3. Green lantern
4. Batman for my friend
And I am finishing up my nightwing, red hood, and red robin from last year.
I hope you have a nice day.
Awesome! I want to do a Geralt cosplay aswell. Can't wait for part 2!! When is it coming out?
How about using Leatherette over Funky foam which is only about 1-2mm thick (could back it with some cardboard/hard card) or something else that’s thin and lightweight - (that way you won’t get all the heat from Eva foam and is lightweight)
Hey Chris! Today is my 23rd birthday any chance of a bday message?? 😊🎂
A winter cosplay? Wow, that's ambitious. Wait, June? Oh right, the *other* winter.
The Witcher mix with the man of Steel SuperMan cosplay plz Chris
Are you going to have one of the swords?
Chris look at boots on Nestof orAt The Front. those boots look like a modified marschsteifel, aka German marching boot or Jack boot.
Are you going to do a sword at all?
I like trains
When's the next custom collectible?
Plz do mando sooon!!!!
His armour looks very functional! Yennifers outfits got kinda weird tho 🤷♀️ 🧶🧥
Hi. Any chance that you can share a link for that Ebay Aketon ?
Thanks
Geralt of riveta
About the rivets , why dont you :
-buy a set of nails
-smash them with a hammer to make then oval ans used
-paper sand them
-cut and keep like half a inch
-stick and glue them in the foam
I dont know if it would hold tho
Good luck
Rivets aren't that much more expensive than nails really
You think you have time but you will blink and the con is a week away.

Toss a coin to your cosplayer!

Hello 👋
I think you should grow your hair out and die it. Itll look alot better and any wig
Personally I don't really like Geralt's armor in the show. It's very impractical and in my mind doesn't look that great. I do however love the default armor from the Witcher 3. VERY practical and cool looking or maybe the Viper School armor. Overall, I love Henry Cavill as Geralt but hopefully he gets some better armor in a future season.
*Don't make cosplay from Netflix series. Please make from The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt.*
