- Britain’s Got Talent returned this weekend and singer Sydnie stole the show. Fresh from winning Amanda’s Golden Buzzer, she joins Lorraine alongside her two VERY proud nans Maureen and Breda. Sydnie tells us how she celebrated with family and friends and what she makes of the backlash she’s received since her performance. Maureen and Breda will also share some important advice for our soon-to-be Granny Lorraine!

There are many people on earth with world class voices like yours but less with a combination of a beautiful voice and a humble heart. Come to the United States we would love to have you. I’ve worked in the West End for years! I can tell you I’ve never heard a voice as good as Sidney”s. My show, Les Mis, constantly hires young, straight out of college performers. It’s so hard for anyone is their mid 20s to break through. But Sidney is too good for the West End!!! She’ll have her own tour. I’m sure Simon will grab her. She is simply phenomenal ♥️

I love how when she was told she made the song her own that instead of just soaking it in to her ego, she gave props to the person who first did that version of the song. That’s a genuinely good person there.

The highs and lows of her voice, the clarity and the feeling in her voice is what makes this version transcend. She has what it takes, now she just needs the right song choices moving forward and a great agent to get her auditions with the right West End shows.

What a smashing rendition of Tomorrow. Words cannot do justice to her entire performance. How could someone be so relaxed, joking while on stage before her biggest performance of her life? The song was so so good, heartfelt vocals like no other. Congrats to such a wonderful talent.
