Here's Chat GPT's CZcams script on my subject - good tips here:
In this tutorial, we'll explore a fun technique for doodling over watercolor paintings using watercolor crayons. It's a playful way to add intricate details and personalize your artwork. Let's dive in!
First, start with a completed watercolor painting. Ensure that the paint is completely dry before proceeding to avoid smudging.
Next, select your watercolor crayons in colors that complement your painting. These crayons are versatile and can be used either dry or wet.
Choose a section of your painting to begin doodling on. You can start with simple patterns like dots, lines, or swirls, then gradually build upon them to create more intricate designs.
Experiment with different pressure and strokes to vary the intensity of the crayon pigment. Light pressure will create subtle lines, while firm pressure will result in bolder marks.
Feel free to mix and layer colors for added depth and dimension. Watercolor crayons can be blended easily with a wet brush, so don't hesitate to activate the pigment with water as you doodle.
As you doodle, let your creativity flow freely. There are no rules here - just have fun and enjoy the process!
Continue doodling across your painting, exploring different motifs and patterns. You can focus on specific elements or cover the entire surface - it's entirely up to you.
If you make a mistake or want to change something, don't worry! Watercolor crayons are forgiving, and you can easily lift or blend away unwanted marks with a damp brush or paper towel.
Once you're satisfied with your doodles, step back and admire your masterpiece! The combination of watercolor painting and crayon doodling creates a unique and whimsical effect that's sure to delight viewers.
Feel free to experiment with this technique on different paintings and surfaces. Whether you're a seasoned artist or a beginner, doodling with watercolor crayons is a delightful way to add a personal touch to your artwork. Have fun exploring and happy doodling!

Love this, looks like a shark coming up out of the water. U have inspired me to get creative with my failed paintings, I will get out the polychromos pencils and markers. 😊

@@christineravenscroft1453 yes, it is sort of my art. I designed it and then handed over artistic control. It felt great to do that. xx
