You are so beatiful and strong. I never sad down and talk with my mom as a child, my mom was always angry for no reason always telling me how I was a burden on her. What a cute, polite, articulate young man! My Mom (who is not in the best of health) is a huge fan of “Paternity Court,” and she now has me watching it. In my - or, should I say, “our” - opinion, what distinguishes it from similar shows is the obvious concern that you have for people who have made colossal mistakes in their personal lives. As a proud mother, you see that children should not be viewed as either collateral damage or commodities, and that the result of unprotected, often promiscuous, behaviour is the creation of what could be the cornerstone of these young people’s lives - IF they choose to step up to the plate and take advantage of God’s greatest blessing (and hope): children. It was a genuine pleasure to see you interacting here with your son, and hear that you (like me) feel that, while effective parenting (such as you had) does not need to always be accompanied by explanations as to why something should or should not be permitted, a child’s inquiring mind will expand all the more when you DO explain the motives for the decisions that you make for him or her. I wish you continued success in your many careers. God bless!
