Thank you. Funny thing I raised my kids on classical music. My son didn't even realize field music on the videos was classical music. Growing up, we watched Bugs Bunny and Friends, and we loved the music, didn't know it was classical music back in the day....
And on Sunday Mornings, in Detroit we listen to WQRS with Dave Wagner. I made my kids listen and enjoy....still enjoying....

Just a tiny note, if I was pressed to choose my favourite composer of classical music of all time it would be Vivaldi ( not putting down Bach). For me personally, Vivaldi is simply magical. I can never get tired of his music. I don't have to be in a 'particular' mood to listen to him. I can listen to him any time, any mood, any occasion, forever lol.

And Beethoven was MILEs ahead of Mozart !! Symphony no 9!! No one was putting a choir into a symphony Til Beethoven did and he was DEAF when he did it! His audeiences waved handcerchiefs instead of clapped when they heard it because they knew he was deaf! Now back to the BAROQUE era Bach Is FAR more talented and has MUCH better pieces than Vivaldi EVER wrote! Vivaldi completely washed up thats what Bach forever the GOAT!

Of course! Being unknown logically leads to poverty! Many talented artists are unknown since art is beauty, which has no MONETARY value ( except for prostitution and commercial hack garbage pop culture ). The very fact an Artist is unknown MEANS we do know know they exist ( so there could be millions of them in the last 400 years... how would WE know? )
here's the thing, Vivaldi wasn't actually unknown but pretty influential during his lifetime but he died in poverty because he tried to move to Vienna and the Emperor who he was hoping would support him died right after his move which made him live in poverty in Vienna. After his death many of his works were forgotten (kinda expected since I played like 15 vivaldi concertos and I have forgotten the melody of all of them) before being rediscovered in the 20th century. But during his life he lived better than people like Bach who were super poor but he wasn't "wealthy" either
@@notabyzantophile You are exactly right. His timing was very unfortunate. And, he wasn't EXACTLY unknown during his life. Rather, it was after he passed that his works fell to the wayside.

Some pretty wild great renown music there! Whoever said Baroque/Classical music was boring, didn't know what they were talking about obviously! Have loved playing some Bach myself on the piano. Challenging is fun! No one ever had to force me to practice the piano which I did for hours while in my childhood and teens! Had a great piano teacher who was beautiful inside and out who had graduated from the renown Julliard School of music. I wanted to be a concert pianist but ended up being a composer and a professional fashion illustrator in NYC/floral designer and now painter of impressionist/lyrical abstract expressionist paintings. The arts are food for the soul! Thanks for posting this, great music to paint to as well!
I always wanted to take piano lessons as a kid but I grew up in poverty and my parent could not afford it. :( Now as an adult, I still wish I could have pursued my dream to have a music career, but unfortunately I need to work a job that will first pay my rent and food. Maybe in my middle age I will be able to afford taking piano lessons but I probably won't ever have the time to have a music career in my lifetime. Sigh.
