I’ve discovered the “spiral” feature on my SO. I have used it to cut small pieces that fit within the aiming circle, like leaves on a small tree… but can it be used with the auto-lock feature for larger work pieces? When using such a small bit, to ease into the cut? It would mean having to circle the cut several times, but may prevent frequent bit break… just wondering

Helix only works on paths where the movement will fit inside the corrective range, it can't be used on larger paths.

Generally speaking we recommend cutting the insert first to 0, then cutting the pocket and test fitting while increasing the offset until you get a perfect fit.
