Great tutorial, thanks. Quick question: what would be the service level for one observation period? in this case, would fill rate and service level be the same? or would the (1, or 0) service level be 100% or 0%, while fill rate be the percentage of demand quantity met?

Service Level would be either 100% or 0% but Fill rate could vary for example if the qty in stock is 10 while the single demand is 10 or less the fill rate would 100% but it say the demand is 12 the fill rate would be 10/12*100=83.33% which means that 83% of the demand of 12 was filled. Similarly if demand is 15 it would be 10/15*100=66.66% or 66.6% of demand of 15 was filled. Hopes this explains
