This was an unforgettable, and incredible adventure with some of the best cliff jumpers on the planet. Nick coulter coordinated the biggest and best rope swing ever created. We were all nervous for such a massive jump, but 3 of us took the plunge! It was a special moment for all of us! The Mike Wilson rope swing was successfully recreated and fully SENT!

Mystic Fortnite He performs 2 rotations, I think. Letting go facing the land and landing looking towards the land doing 2 horizontal rotations. (thus 720) Either way this jump is very difficult and a masterful act considering the whole "swing-situation". Definitely the most amazing jump I have ever seen!

What an intense stunt. Cant believe you trusted the swing to propel you into the water without snapping. Just standing on that ledge will definitely make you think about death. Legit: Adrenaline addicted.
What a freak, to have such control over your body in a moment like that is crazy
Not a freak. It is about having faith in the mechanics of the swing is first and utmost. Then knowing your strength, weight, and what you are confident in doing. Trust me! Most people just do a 'needle' and stay straight and cup their nuts on a risky swing. My most dangerous jump was at a local gravel pit with a friend who was a lanky basketball player and I was always had a lean shorter frame. He can't try to replicate me when I went first. IMAGINE THIS:
The platform was created by some losers in town. BUT, I loved the HEIGHT of the stand. I was just me and Andy tripping. The stand had so much GIVE in it and was wobbly as shit. I said IF i only theoretically had 5 big ass dudes at all 4 points of the base of this stand 3 feet down, then I would know when I leap flat out and climb up 3 knots before the rope tightens out, and I tuck like crazy to avoid drag...then I could do this. OR is this the LSD talking?
Low and behold. 50 guys and gals came out from a 'oppositioning town' and were freaking out at my debate at the edge of this stand. Screaming "HOLY SHIT WE HAVE A PLATFORM JUMPER!" and "WHO BUILT THAT INSANE SHIT?" Ect...The pressure wasn't overwhelming but only made me more head strong. I said "IF ALL YOU GUYS COME DOWN HERE AND 2000 LBS OF FORCE IS PUSHING THIS THING FORWARD AGAINST MY 150 LBS? WE HAVE A DEAL." I rode that pitch till peak height at end of swing and it was like the world stopped and everything was in slow motion and I just fanned out into a swan dive, but keep in mind I was a good 30 feet above where the rope was even attached to the limb! To give you the idea that the platform was about 15 feet above the limb on a 100 foot rope! When you enter water like that and you instantly feel yourself go WAY past the warm area point of surface water and you keep kniving into water so cold and you can't see the sunlight anymore? I was lucky to make it back to the top.
Even worse is the deal was Andy now had to do what I did. He only made it to knot 2 and not 3 and making a triple grab, was above the knot. When rope went taut it smashed his grip and put him to knot 1 and that means he is going to not TOE GRAB but KNEE GRAB and it pulled a boat load of skin from his knees to his chest and he didnt have nipples for a month. It is serious shit. I regret making that obligation with him, but he started talking mad shit when that big group can down and it could have easily been me with gravel pit road rash from knee to neck. Lucky we could get him out of the area on our own, and another kid had his nuts thrust up behind his pubic area and split his nut sack. Its a serious game.
Rule #1 of rope swing:
Jump with your arms already extended off the rip. Especially if you have weak arms.

I did the mistake of jumping instead of leaning in which resulted in me having my arms around the level of my belly and then quckly extended above my head which made me lose grip. I messed myself up on a medium/large size rope swing. Don't want this accident to keep me away from trying again. Any other tips on how to hold better on ?
loggiic if you keep straight arms at all times and go at a distance were the rope keeps tight, you will be fine

You boys don't hit many rope swings i can see. Every swing is different and tree roots will ruin your year. That rule number one is trash, don't lock your arms straight. Every trick has a different approach and protect your legs from clipping. Build confidence then send it. Much better advice to a beginner. Confidence and focus on what your trying to accomplish. Not the fear of your attempted trick

First time ever watching a video from Adrenaline Addiction. I was told by a friend to check out any AA random video. I am Super Impressed by the level of engineering and attention to detail your team conducted before the first swing. If anyone thinks that your precautions lessened the risk of this jump there are idiots. The preparation means nothing if you cant keep your grip. The fact that 3 courageous people agreed to swing deserves recognition on it own merit, but when I observed the degree of difficulty of the actual dive portion I immediately knew that AA is the Real Deal. You've gained a permanent loyal viewer/fan.
