I've found it; it's a rendition of "Mr. Gallagher and Mr. Sheen" that he did with Johnny Mercer; the main voice we hear is Mercer's, not Crosby's. If you do a search on CZcams for that title, plus Crosby and Mercer's name's, the recording sampled here will be found. It's the one with the thumbnail image of a white card-club on blue.
I can't hear the phrase "Could be!" without humming this song.

Yeah, it's really weird. I guess nobody thought of just COPYING THE LYRICS from the song that this one is based on. "Seven Necro gave it all an end" indeed...
If you get the import then it's on the CD. The US version has removed it. Unfortunately the Import was sold out when I wanted it. I ended up recording it off CZcams, but I may get the import for the improved quality.
Ya have to admit it makes you want to hear just what these boogying folks were playing to begin with....gotta love that crazy upright bass player.
Man, lots of talent...people were having a ball. When you see real crazy people dancing to boogy in some of the old films, tearing up the whole room, throwing each other around....it makes everybody in clubs nowadays look like sitting ducks.

@sclogse1 Whats needed is electro-indy hop...
I still have problems with the late snare..and a bit late bass that's added. The stumble feel it gives is probably on purpose, but it also takes away from the tightness and energy of the source material. If heard alone...then only the snare would sound late, and still accomplishes the same pull on the energy.
