The edgars already destroyed the Mustang community, im too embarrassed to own another one now, along with any other modern muscle/ pony car. Strange phenomenon that I have not ever heard anyone talk about. I’m getting a c6 next for this very reason.

@651MYGarage it doesn't add 50-100 hp it actually shows less power on the dyno. It's the stupid insane gearing they have that gives them the advantage. Meanwhile the manual got shit gearing for 2018 which is why there is such a performance gap.
Also the driver greatly effects a manuals performance whereas on an auto not so much. The 10 speed has like extra gears it's like a 6 speed manual gearing with a granny gear below the normal first gear and then a first and a half then 2nd then 2nd and a half then 3rd. Each gear it's like you have half the gear split a manual does. The gearing isn't fair. It's not because it's auto it's because it has a crazy gearing advantage and most people really don't understand that.
With that said a manual with the same power should not be getting left that bad I think the car needs the driver mod, a better tire or both.
Yea having way better gearing makes it like you're up 50 hp. This isn't new news. At the end of the day it's quick but it's a boring auto that takes 0 skill. The manual is way more fun and you can be fast with those too with the right setup and driver.

Mod for mod, ESS is way more efficient, lighter and just does better than any leading centri on the market, yep I said it and read it again. I'll put my car up against any centri who wants to play. I've been with ESS for a very long time, and they are proven. Great video man

Traction control kicking in halfway through 4th gear is wild.
Looked like ESS was mainly just driver mod made more top end a few times and looked like maybe late start or just driver mod idk. But ESS might be the move

Is the 10 speed better on a twisty back road? Doubt it , you know, for people who drive to actually go right left and up and down.
There’s a mustang 10r80 locally that road course, auto x, time attack and he’s always top 2. Depends I guess. Plenty of gt500s that love twisty roads also and they’re dct 🤔

I have a ess on my 2020 gt 6 speed. However I'm running low boost due to shitty 91 octane gas. I even had to throw on a water meth kit to make the car happy with a 125mm pulley. Lth for sound and flow too 😃 It's enough power for me

I was running a snow kit on my ess g2 with 105 mm pulley. G3 with 115mm pulley now on 93 making 730 and 590 to the wheels
blue one finally learned how to drive in last one. 100mm ESS is close to 775 wheel.
I’m looking to put an ESS into my 18 level2 performance pack been watching a lot of videos on it gonna be lit
i have a pp1 2018 with a g3 and a 110mm pulley.... do it man if u do full fuel and 1000 fic injectors its wild.

I think the problem is the MT82 gearing. I really wish they would switch to the T56 or anything better then the MT
T56 cant handle to power. Sane for the new 6 spd in Dark Horse.
@@MasterCarguy44-pk2dq your crazy. bone stock t56 handle 600 pretty reliably and a built t56 magnum well over 800. First issue would be the half shafts and/or clutch. I know this from experience.

@Oliver-ft2fq you're not going to get 1000whp on 93. Especially stock ring gap. You'll break a ring land before you hit 800wheel. E85 on a fuel system you can. It's like unicorn blood. Fuel system, ID1050X'S and the right guy tuning it and You'll be worrying about what you're going to break behind the engine.

Yikes my neighbors 5.0 makes 645 rwhp on a 6.5 psi. Thats about 715 crank. I can imagine these cars having anything stock internally. 14 psi???!!!!! Def buit or sleeved block, crank, oil pump gears, transmission, etc, etc. 30k spent on each of these cars. I cant justify spending as much as I paid for the car
Mustangs are forged internals from the factory, only the Zl1 Camaro has forged as well. How long these 14 psi motors will last is unclear. So yes they can take it, stock. I’d like to see the Dyno sheet on that says 6.5 lbs= 645. Talk is cheap like junk stangs

I'm at 17lbs on my 100mm ESS car. Most people are at least 16 lbs. 95MM is where it really begins to get crazy, but that will require the G3X.
