Happy to watch these 3d/4d games.
Thanks for the video. A nice game to learn from.
You didn't have to dodge that one guy. If you don't think it's a real opening then just show the people how to dismantle it with basic play. Some people have trouble dealing with weird unorthodox openings.
"He's not really a 3d"
Seriously, the guy had over 7000 games on record. Having a 2-5 recent record and playing the slightest variation off a classical opening doesn't make one an illegitimate player.
What i meant to say is hes not likely to hold a 3d. Imagine if i did play the 2-5, he would become 2-6. There's a really really good chance hes ranking back down. In fact, since i recorded this game he did in fact fall to 1d playing 30+ games in 1 day. Seems to be the norm.
Chances are multiple people are playing on the account ranging from kyu to dan level. Perhaps a club account?
@@dwyrin Fair enough but you never know. I knew an 8d at my club who always played a 3-3 opening and when asked he would explain that it's the only joseki he knows by heart. He would rather lose a few points in the opening for safety because he'll surely make it up in mid game fights, being a strong 8d with good reading.

I would personally like to see more games where you play/invite the newer AI joseki in this series. (From the side where you're initiating them as opposed to just responding.) I understand that it's not necessary at all. But it would be nice to see how to handle the resulting positions in basic ways.
This Fox goban has a dent near A14... :)
One of the best-commented games I've ever seen! Really goes to show us SDKs to always be OK with a sequence that lets the opponent live as long as it builds enough outside strength.
Often times, if your opponent is doing something small and uninteresting, them living with the mistake can be punishment enough.
Saw that title and thought dwyrin was finally coming out of the closet
