Possibly to assist with dividing and marshalling the train at the yard?
Probably to run two trains at once. Makes complete sense!
when was this video taken? and also I never knew we had locomotives in the middle of our trains!
This was 21st May, so a few days ago.
Maybe it was a second train being driven way too close to the one one in front
UK is now adopting the yank Precision Scheduled Railroading nonsense? (Two trains joined to make one, thus, the middle loco is in DPU mode)
