@@NJackie No this is actually a hallucination miku has after years of isolation in the forest. The dolls represent her view of her parents who either couldn’t afford to take care of her or thought she was a changling cursed child. Miku keeps herself sane and alive for many years imagining the dolls are her loving parents but as she lays dying from exhaustion and malnutrition, she sees her childhood comforts are actually her shackles. If she let go of the forest fairy tale, maybe she could’ve made a better life for herself. She has to die with the fact that her parents actually only had mal intentions (yes I did pull this out of my ass)
