The amount of lump sum payments is so small that it will not make any difference to anything. Quit making it like seniors just won a lottery. Seniors are not stupid. And is money paid into the CCP by employers and employees and this extra is probably from interest it earned?

75 years, one time $ 500:is not enough, per month mtge increased $ 160, property taxes $68 ,,plus increased costs of utilities, Money left is hardly enough for basic groceries eg,potatoes, rice, macroni & cheese, nothing for fruits, forget having a car, any holiday or going to a movie. Am not complaining but letting ruling federal party know “ golden times”: for elderly seniors are some what rotten . Sorry to write the facts.

A one time 500.00 boost is not an investing amount as they say to do with it. It will probably cover the cost of filling their fridge and pantry that is all. Also it will not cover paying off bills or home repairs. Seniors were under the impression from all the coverage it was going to be a monthly boost until inflation improved sorry not the case.
Nobody gets $1000.00 a month for CPP, the most you get is $500.00, that proves this video is all a lie!!!!

Wasn't this promised in May, June and now july. I called this a scam.
Also it proves it is a lie our cheques come out 3 days before the last day of the month, except in December, it comes out just before xmas!!!
