  • I used some scrap maple and walnut to make this spinning snooker scoreboard for my dad. I used some sealed bearings for smooth movement as well as spring loaded detents for a more precises rotational pattern.

    Fantastic product, much better than the crap boards in most clubs. I always love it when things get simple mechanisms added like the with the spring and ball bearing, those little details make this so much more satisfying to watch and use.

    Very cool! I was surprised to see that even though there were no mechanical fasteners used in this project at no time was there a need for a whole wak of glue. Well done Mr. Builds.

    Really cool! What version of snooker is this? I only know the one with the huge table where you play a red ball before a coloured one.

      @DIYBuilds  Před 3 lety +2

      We were done the red balls at that point in the game. But we only have an 8 foot table.

    How is this a diy builds. You have a pro workshop. most people can not DIY. how mouch do you get from CZcams for sailing a lie

    • @DIYBuilds
      @DIYBuilds  Před 3 lety +5

      Its diy because I do not run a full time buisness woodworking. This is my hobby and most of my tools are second hand or homemade. I also offer free plans on my website. There is always more than one way to do things in wood working so if you dont have a certain tool find an alternative way to do it. Also I am easily the most honest person on youtube.

    • @Rafterhwoodworks
      @Rafterhwoodworks Před 3 lety +4

      But you didnt answer the question. How much do you get for sailing on CZcams. I'm actually pretty curious because I think I've watched all of your videos and have yet to come across you sailing. I vote this goes in the next viewer comments with you in a sailors hat.

      @bentcountershaft Před 3 lety +1

      @@Rafterhwoodworks I just want to know if safety boat shoes are required for sailing. If so I'm out. I can't afford that kind of specialist footwear.
