Wow!!! Your faux stone tutorial is so amazing!!! Who would have thought to create faux turquoise from toilet paper, nail polish and craft glue and the outcome is simply stunning - and the stones look so real!!! - I'm going to make this for sure and thank you very much for this tutorial.

I just found this tutorial. It's Great. I can never find the kind of stone I am looking for in the store. Now I can make my own. I am also going to try this using a pen mold.

Ilene I love turtlenecks too. Thanks so much for the new super easy idea. I made 2 sizes of beads for mine- 1 large and 2 medium. Will try smaller ones for earrings or put medium and small together for a bracelet. I'm going to make some of these in Black, Silver and Teal, and Black, Red and White to go with 2 of my skirts. Most of my long skirts are multi-colors, so I have to ponder those a bit.

That was really cool. They look like real stones. I like to craft and do it mostly because it's fun; not, because I want to make money. I suppose that a person could make them smaller, as well.

Ilene, love the idea of using toilet paper in the molds. I need corner pieces for the jewelry boxes I make. I need them done faster than with resin, and my clay breaks or cracks when doing fine filigree. This idea will work great.
