As a long time practitioner of Yoga & Buddhist meditation (Thich Nhat Hanh's Plum Village Tradition), Stu is passionate about sharing music as a daily practice for health & well being. Stu’s workshops playfully encourage students to deepen the mind-body-spirit-instrument connection which allows for enhanced listening, increased creativity and greater ease in music making.
Over a 25 year career, Stu has performed gypsy jazz guitar with symphony orchestras, presented ukulele workshops at festivals worldwide, toured internationally and recorded with renowned sacred chant artist Snatam Kaur on her 2018 Grammy-nominated album “Beloved”. In 2014 he was awarded a prestigious grant from the National Endowment of the Arts for his work offering healing music at cancer hospitals for patients and their families.

From a beginner's perspective your channel is quite the niche. I seem to lack the capacity / capability to learn an entire song; however, I fiddle with my ukes everyday. A chord progression with a couple of challenging (for me at least) embellishments gives a great learning target. Also enjoy the gems that you pick out that I would never think of like this one, All of Me and even The River of dreams. Keep it up!

What does no5 after a ukulele chord mean? As in C7no5
That is the symbol for a raised fifth. C7#5. It means that the G in that cord is now a T-shirt… They create a different sound with More dissonance/tension
