I went to the Sapporo Snow and ice festival this February, it was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever been to. Only thing that comes close is the German/French/Belgium Christmas markets we went to a few years ago.
The takoyaki octopus looked so good! My last time in Japan, I ate a lot of takoyaki and tonkatsu but I don't think, that the food is so expensive. You have to look around a bit but you can always find good spots with tasty food for a good price. Hope I can visit Japan through my next three years of studying japanese und philosophie. Thanks to you, I have a very long list with a lot of things to do and eat ;)!

The “Chinese pancake” is 烧饼 or shāobing and it’s a really popular street food from Northern China
Ramune was brought to Japan by a british guy. If you buy lemonade here, it is a lot less like what you get in the US and a lot closer to ramune.
