I honestly think that Caboose's stupidity is partially just for show -- I mean, it's the whole 'If they think I'm an idiot, why prove them wrong?' mentality -- because he's had some really, really great moments of absolute intelligence -- which means he's just a cloud-cuckoo-lander. :P
I just love when people lose themselves making a point and just rant and unwind about things they have bottled up so far, exploding in philosophical rages that, sometimes make a lot of sense to those listening. This is a pretty awesome scene at that, but when it happens in real life, it's a gem of a moment to me xD
