WePlay Ultimate Fighting League Season 1 is set to take place between March 25th and April 11th, 2021. The tournaments will not be held at the same time and will instead follow one another.
Mortal Kombat 11 - March 25th-28th;
SOULCALIBUR VI - April 1st-4th;
Tekken 7 - April 8th-11th.
Prize Pool:
Mortal Kombat 11 - $50,000;
SOULCALIBUR VI - $50,000;
Tekken 7 - $50,000.
Just like with WePlay Dragon Temple, WUFL S1 will be held at the WePlay Esports Arena Kyiv. WePlay Esports will be taking a multitude of safety measures to guarantee the wellbeing of all event participants. As such, all of the players and staff will be tested for COVID-19. Furthermore, no audience will be present at the event as a cautionary measure.

Sonics ability to switch up is what carries him. You can tell rewind was ready for him but sonic gave him different looks at the end and rewind never adjusted.
Fox just isn't human. The dude's skill set is on another level.

I feel the same way about this as I do about people saying he goes to loser's bracket on purpose. Like on the one level I kind of see the rationale and why people think it might be beneficial but on another level it's just so hard for me to see any pro player putting themselves on the precipice of elimination for such an impalpable advantage. Especially if opponents can be ready for it lol. I mean personally I am 100% sure Sonic will sometimes "throw" the first round of a first match in order to download his opponent, but entire games is much harder to see any pro player doing on purpose imo
You were probably being facetious and I realize I'm overthinking it in general but I find it to be an interesting thing to overthink about lol
He does it so that he can analyze and run them back always have if first strat doesnt work

We have a saying here in Colombia to describe a situation similar to Rewind's defeat: he killed the tiger but he got scared with it's skin.
@Zooce Pierce,Rewind did the most difficult, won two battles straight (he killed the tiger) and he was about to win the final battle, but he got scared at the easy part (he got scared with it's skin) and sony took advantage and won.

I mean some of it I have to imagine is psychological. Not saying he won't always prefer just a 3-0 but SF for sure will sometimes throw the first round of the first match in a set if he wants to download his opponent. So I have to imagine at least at times in those 0-2s there's an element of "Lulling into a false sense of momentum"
It's the same as like - okay I don't believe SF or any pro player is going to the losers bracket on purpose like so many people seem to think. But I do think Sonic is confident enough in his mental fortitude that he's comfortable with the bracket reset because he is just that confident (with plenty of reason) in his ability to simply mentally outlast his opponent. Which imo we saw vs TM's Cetrion spam (all due respect to TM who is a godlike player as well)
Sonics neutral in those last couple games was incredible
The patience he has is unreal I’d lose my shit being in neutral like that felt like he was on an island getting chipped 😩😩 but he figured it out 💪🏼

You know the more time that goes by the more I think they did something VERY interesting with this game.
I think the IDEA of variations and custom variations is game changing and I’d like to see the idea of that in all fighting games.
I’ve always championed the idea of its not what you do but how you do it. I recognize the “Tier” system but I always think that you can make any character work as long as your good. Characters are just tools to express yourself in fighting games. You and your style come through the character and having variations add to that.

I literally can't believe how this match went. Rewind had impeccable reads the first 2 matches and dropped the ball completely. Not to take anything away from sonic but rewind needs to practice playing in the clutch more

This battle was very epic very technical and there was a lot of tension but again I'm always going to keep grounded to what I've been saying all along Sonic Fox is undefeated the king of mk11 and no matter how you look at this battle rewind took around with timing so did Fox so no one needs to criticize fox for running the time like rewind did. Sonic is king of King that's my boy let's go
