Yeah, He's undeniably great at the game its just a shame everyone has to gobaround playing with the sane set of characters all the time. It makes everything so boring. At least wawa is playing a fun team

This is why wawa is the best. Very fun original team he’s playing, and still performing admirably. He doesn’t need to play top tiers all the time in order to be a threat
Both gohan and 18 are top tier, Just because you don’t see them as often as the fusions/21, doesn’t mean they’re not top tier.

@@tearitup5864 Gohan needs to spend meter to be an actual threat. Wouldn't consider him top tier til lvl3 or lvl5
18 has a gameplan that is pretty reliant on her assists and opponents opening themselves up (other than 50/50 level 3)
18 is the highest tier player on his team and still has to put in alot of work compared to fusions and labcoat.
Not to discredit Seyhan, but his team was obviously superior
@@cosmik411 that logic doesn’t make sense. That’s like saying Phoenix (umvc3) needs to turn dark phoenix to be top tier or Vergil needs to be xfactor with devil trigger to be top tier. Obviously no one says that, they’re just considered top tier, same logic applies to gohan. And as for 18, who cares? She’s still top tier, all pros say she is because all her pros outweigh her cons and she does things better than most of the cast. By your logic, gogeta 4 shouldn’t be top tier because he also needs a team built around him and he’s not easy unlike gogeta blue where you can plug him in any team and it works. I get it, seyhan/popo has a superior team, that’s clear, but Wawa using different teams isn’t why he’s the best. He’s the best because his reactions/defense/optimization/game sense are far superior than most (other than Yasha and nitro, who’s on his level), that’s why he’s the best. You guys weren’t saying these things when go1 was #1 even tho he all he did was pick top tier, I get it, the meta is stale but the characters don’t define the players, it’s the players who define the characters.

Gohan can easily never have the chance to level up and be considered completely useless. No movement options. Half a bar for SKD on alot of combo routes, no level 1 confirm unless spending daid half bar or in corner, buttons dont work the same or have as many hits. Hes almost as bad as ssj1 vegeta ar level 0. Comparing him to dark phenoix or Vergil is not a fair comparison at all because they're not totally trash without their x factor. It's why no one played him but Wawa till they added all the extra things to his level system. The only person capable of even playing Gohan at the level to be top tier was Wawa anyway. No one else was doing anything even that relatively good with him before hand. Gogeta 4 also doesn't need a team built around him. He's got one of the best staggers in the game, big buttons and built in mix into his character. 18's "top tier" playstyle relies on her baiting opponents with barrier and punishing. Level 3 mix being taken away would automatically drop her way down and you can't say that's not true just like with Majin 21 and people barely playing her now.
