He looks great in tight spaces; perfect for Arsenal's interplay in and around the box. Would easily get on the end of crosses, too, and with a lot more goal success than Jesus. What's not to love? Him or Isak over any of the others for me.
I prefer him to Isak... Isak is a good player, ticks all the boxes but breaks down quite often.

There can be no argument that Arteta clearly identified Dusan Vlahovic as the ideal center forward to spearhead his triumvirate front line, and only after the unsuccessful attempt to purchase him did he switch the focus of our striker recruitment onto Gabriel Jesus.
With that fact in mind, Viktor Gyokeres is of all the striker profiles linked to us, the closest to that of the big Serbian even if a couple of years or so older than him and as such lends weight to any logical approach regarding the future recruitment of a central striker.

@@nickyjose I agree that Sesko does indeed have many similar attributes to Vlahovic too, but why I don't consider him to be as close in profile to the Juventus man as Gyokeres is, in that he's yet to produce at least a couple of seasons of consistent goalscoring at a prolific rate and at a high level.
The Vlahovic ship has sailed now that we changed course on Kai Havertz. Im confident we will not buy a center forward this summer. Another central midfielder will come for big money before a foeward.
@@sriig that the Vlahovic ship has already sailed is a moot point since I made no reference to us making another attempt to sign him, only that Gyokeres is the center forward who's attributes are most similar to his.
Having taken note of Havertz while he was at Bayer Leverkusen (we were first linked to him about a year before Chelsea even made their move) where he predominantly started out on the right similar to Saka but with freedom to roam right across the front line as well as from deeper areas typically occupied by attacking midfielders, tethering him to a more rigid, steadfast position as the out and out center forward that we need to get the best from our attack and style of play is less likely to extract the best of what it is that he has to offer, and reason why Arteta has looked to deploy him from midfield.
Especially in a box midfield, have him instead able to occupy and make runs from behind a worthwhile center forward, and I think we'd be golden.
Experience in the championship is a good sign too. Should adapt well to the prem.
He's also an instinctive finisher. We don't have many of those in our team. Would be huge for us as we often have ball in the opposite box, also we play low line and counter attack against powerful teams.

He is already an Arsenal player. Sporting are desperately trying to get him to sign a new contract and up his release clause of €85m to €125m. Arsenal are sending in a bid full €85m which is about £70m+ and get him over in London. Zubimendi and Pedro Neto are also targets. Arsenal finish the season with one of the trophies they are well placed to compete for they will get easy their top targets!

@@cxaxdxextxeA lot of players struggles with moves from lower level leagues, it's just a known fact, and all of those type of transfers is (more or less) a gamble. Isak is a safer bet, he has already "proven" himself in the Premier League, but on the other hand, he's more injury prone.

Benjamin Sesko is better, he can use both feet and can score goals with his head, he has a good physique, a strong ball body and good speed, especially his finishing is extraordinary.
