Fun fact, you don’t need the Auto Rename Tag extension, VS Code has a setting that does exactly that. If I remember correctly it’s called “Editor: Linked Editing” setting
Indeed, "editor.linkedEditing": true
But it doesn't work for react or other file-types with html sintax
Interesting, thanks!
@@teoryman5286now it does work with jsx
Awesome! Thanks. There were a few I had not yet tried. Very helpful post!
Happy to help David!
This Pretty Typescript Errors is A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!
Life changing experience. Thank you once more Simon!!!!
Yeah I love it as well Rafael!
thank you, Simon, got something for myself
Thank you I didn’t know 3 of them 🎉
Oh nice, hope they will be helpful :)
Peacock and the project manager extensions make a great combo
Yes indeed!
I would not say they are must-have, but I like having "iconify", "switcher" to switch between .ts and .html in angular, thunderclient to test my API and of course, vscode-pets
Thank you, checking them out!
Thank you
A good extension is error lens.
It shows the error on the line immediately like a form validator
Nice, just installed it!
JSON to TS is actually nuts.
I couldn't live anymore with my Emmet Extension, which saves so crazy much time for frontend development.
Interesting, never used that before!
how can get this ( M, u , 1 or colourful circle) after my file names under left side menu of explorer/editor
CSS Peek, Error Lens, Past JSON as Code ( similar Json to TS ), Surround, Power Mode ( for fun ) and Code Time...
Thank you Starley, checking them out!
Hi Simon, I wanted to know how to use the Capacitor in Flutter...
Capacitor and Flutter have absolutely nothing in common, how do you want to use them together? They are fundamentally different things.
Hi Simon would it be possible to create an android tv app with ionic?
I haven't tried, guess that's a good challenge!
I loved you theme , what theme are you using ?
Shades of Purple
How about Codewhisperer? I think it's good, free alternative for Copilot and the suggestions are evenly useful/useless.
do I understand right that you also have to pay for copilot?
@@jetfuelspray511 after trial period yes.
Have seen some people try Codewhisperer, will wait for their evaluation!
Simon you have forgotten the best vscode plugin : webstorm 😂😂😂
🙈
Peacock and Project Manager are adopted, thank you for the research
