I ordered the all black model and a leather strap for it. The strap cost me almost as much as the watch. That model is a great deal for the price. Good for a general knock around type watch. Not expensive to replace if damaged while doing things around the house.

Something I would hqve done slightly different. Prior to dissasembling the module, take the polarizing film and orient it to obtain the negative effect and set it to the side in that orientation. This way once you have scored/removed the section of the original film, the new polarizing film is already oriented correctly and then apply your pattern/original film.

Is it possible to remove the vertical and the horizontal crosshair lines from the digi-analog display? To me they just make viewing so much worse. I get the center circle since the straight lines for hands couldn't fit there so instead of a visibility gap, it looks more natural to just have a black circle overlay. I get the outer ring line. But those crosshair lines are same thickness almost as the hands. I wish I could erase them.

You probably don't mod these Casios at all, or a lot. Buy a Casio from Amazon and I bet you itll arrive with a scratched caseback. Most of them arrive that way unfortunately.
And note taken on cutting the filter.
Hopefully you found something good or useful in the rest of the video

Is it possible to make a negative display into a positive ?

Yeah. You would remove the polarized filter you installed in this video, clean the glue residue, and install a new polarized filter, but orient it to make it a positive/ normal display

You should purchase a Giottos Rocket Air Blaster instead of wasting money on compressed air.
