How long after a bulletin opens and your case becomes current, does it take to receive the interview email from KCC? If I have a case number of 45,000 in Italy, when do you think I could possibly receive an email calling me for an interview? The bulletin in July for EU opened for cases up to 50,000.

There are 33142 cases in total that are going through the interview in Africa for dv 2024 program because of the 7% that should be applied to countries that won more than the numbers like Morocco, Sudan , Algeria and Egypt.

@@Butterfly7550 i got interviewed on July 3, at the end the CO congratulated me and gave me the approval of my visa, didnt ask for any documents or anything. My latest visa status, lastly updated on 8th July is “admin processing” . Is this normal?

Are you a DV2024 selectee? If you are, the visa bulletin is current for all case numbers below 5000 and you can receive your 2nl once you've submitted your DS260. If you're a DV2025 selectee, you'll have to wait.
Anyone does know how Manila embassy is doing? I am unsure if they are working super slow or they don't have cases (Philippians are not playing in dv)? share your thoughts

If embassies could voluntarily take interviews from other countries, would that help? it’s not like they’d be running a charity, people still pay $$$ for the visas.
I imagine anyone that has gone current & at a low activity embassy will now get their visa for sure?
High CNs should just pick a low activity embassy from the get go. For example, it’s easy to move to Madagascar, cost of living is low, so if you work remote, what’s stopping you?

Thank you! My number for DV2025 most probably will become current in August (it’s in 700s). I will be doing AOS. I don’t want to file early so that my application does not to get mixed up with the DV2024. When in your opinion is the best time to send it out in my case ? Impossible for your filing to get mixed up. File when you have all your documents. The earlier you file, the better.
@@DunlopJ Incorrect. If the person files too early, many have been rejected due to mix ups with DV2024. If someone's number becomes current so early in the FY then it's recommended they don't do early filing to avoid that.
If you are DV2025, then your number can't become current until October 2024 at a minimum. That's when the new FY starts. I wouldn't recommend early filing as many get denied due to the confusion you stated. If your number becomes current in October, it would be safe for USCIS to receive your application postmarked from October 1 onwards.
@@megdavidson4505you can submit form DS-260 at any point, even before the fiscal year starts. I assume she, the op, is talking about filing (submitting) DS-260. There cannot be any mix up with the forms for different FY.

Ask those people whose appointments were canceled even on the day of the interview for DV 2023 around September. I was among, but Simon said it was going to happen, so made my peace with it.
Yes, there were people who were literally about to make visa payment while inside the embassy when the process was terminated. Terrible.
@@mobilemachine1578 This is really frustrating! Allow me to ask the reason why they did that.
This year is different because they only pushed the VB for September. It's not likely to run out if embassies perform at typical capacity. Using Xarthisius's data an average of 5000 visas are issued per month. That should increase for these final months but not enough to reach the 52K by the end of August like they did last year.

As the principal applicant, yes it is possible. But a later reunion will be more challenging. You're better off taking whatever possible measures to take your derivatives with you, even if it means selling an asset or taking a loan.

I think you made a big mistake in your 2024DV chart that you have to make filtration for the( Ready case numbers) you shown because it is a commulative and included many case numbers missed their interviews at the first Visa bulletins published recently starting from month of October up to May !!! These winners didn't attend their interviews and in every update you insisted to add them in your excel sheet schedule as ready cases for interviews !!!! I hope you to rectify this mistake in your next DV chart for 2025

@@JosephineNkumbuku For a region to go current mean that all the cases within that region are eligible for the interview up to the last number in that region. The last number in Africa is 122970, the July VB is 75,000. So from the 75,000 to the last number in the region are eligible for the interview base on the embassy preferment.
What about Nepal not getting 2 nl july vb updated cases and for September they went to 13 k

Fiscal year 2025 starts from 1 October 2024. Getting email depends on your region. Your case number is good. I guess you'll get the invitation letter before Mar 2025.
