Dude, it's still Bumzu and Woozi that have some of the power to assign who'll sing which because they're the ones that did the song so they know which parts suits which color. It's one of the reasons why Woozi is in the top 5 in all of their title tracks.

Did I say it's not Pledis final decision? I just said that as the producers, Bumzu and Woozi know how the song should sound and of course Woozi can pull off most of the notes best as he worked for it. Thus why I said Bumzu and Woozi still have a say (some if not excessively) on who's gonna sing a specific line.
This makes sense, the main vocals and vocal leader having the most lines and in general vocal line having more. Which again makes sense because this sound isn't very rap-ish. overall it's pretty neat
Hoshi, Dino, The8 and Jun are part of the vocals even though they aren’t officially in the vocal team. This song is just greatly suited for DK and Seungkwan.

i know its way better than it usually is, but still... i'm minghao biased and i only got the chance to know him better because of the interviews and his performance. same for jun (and jun is kinda shy in most of the interviews). china line deserves love. all seventeen members deserve love.

The distribution was actually pretty fair considering the main vocalist should always have more lines so it's expected that Seokmin, Seungkwan and Jihoon are always high. But Josh fourth and before Soonyoung? I don't think I have ever seen that, my boy is finally getting the spotlight he deserves. Also I was extremely pleased that the china line got more than four seconds. I feel kind of bad for the rap line but we have to take in consideration that a lot of rap wouldn't have fit in that well with the song vibe. So yeah in general I'm pretty pleased with the line distribution

Joshua only got one line last time but usually he gets plenty or at least a fair amount of lines per song. Its Jun ,the8 ,Dino and Wonwoo who don't get lines. I do agree tho compared to DK Woozi and Seungkwan he doesn’t get much. He should get more lines tho. His voice is my favorite.

Dino has not rapped in any title track since Boom Boom era. Even in non title tracks.. He's doing a lot of vocals lately.
OreoMooMoo he raps in performance team songs. He also kind of rapped in Flower. He doesn't in other songs namely cause 5 rappers is a bit exigent in songs with non-rap based songs.
mingyu (and i guess vernon too) has shined in past eras but dino hasnt that much in title tracks so i hope next time would be his :)
Yeah i don't really think that the hip hop team is that grooved into the Thanks song. Their parts were good but too much rap can turn the song on the bad side. Although, Dino does need more lines

People keep saying this is a fair distribution but he gets one short line and practically no screentime at all. People always talk about how China Line, Joshua and Wonwoo needs more lines but Channie is almost always at the bottom with Hao an Jun and nobody cares. Idk I'm just mad that no one talks about how unfair Chan is treated, when China Line gets no lines people riot (as they should), when Joshua gets no lines people riot (as they should) but when Channie gets no lines and no screentime people are completely fine? yeeet~~ dokyeommie got most lines i'm a happy seokmin stan :D i'm also a fairly happy jun and dino stan because even though their lines were not that much, but they definitely had a moment to shine. plus, their lines explored the facets of their voices that we don't usually hear, like jun's falsetto singing and dino's soft singing voice. so all in all, i'm proud.

y’all have to understand this song is more about vocals so it make sense that hip pop unit didn’t get as much lines like i think this is very fair
Some may still say that the line distribution is so unfair but then the song has a high vocal range so it just make sense that the most vocally stable members get a bit more lines. And if you look at it, all of them got more than just 2 lines.
This is probably one of the most even line distribution ive seen its expected for dk and seungkwan to have more due to being the main vocalist
