Seems that sort of thing is being evened out as you know for many years Storm got all the “rub of the green!” so it’s good to see this happen in favour of teams that have rarely had things go in their favour! BTW - so good to see that happening with the Knights v Storm game - what goes around comes around!

Check play the ball speed stats, simple math, manly slowed the ruck more. Therefore were penalised more for doing so

I was horrified at 14 nil and thinking if we didn't score next it'd be a massacre. I think Manly made a lot of errors espy laying on player, ruck infringement etc. Kept Parra in it. Disallowed try a 50-50 call or Manly may have closed it out. Thankfully the good guys won!

Great game but honestly I think Manly have a good case to claim robbery here. I was happy with every call in the game besides that obstruction.

He stopped in the defensive line. Obstruction every day of the week. I’m a neutral supporter too. Manly were not robbed the player should have kept running through the line.

Manly once had Greg Hartley, the guy refereeing today put Hartley to shame, I thought crowding was a penalty, but after a break,sin bin, running back through the ruck to interfere, penalty, what ever Parra paid him,he was worth every cent

They’re all the same, except some have different interpretations of rules that are made to be too complex to interpret! League going backwards making the referee’s job much harder than it should be
Give me Adam Gee. Let's the game flow - makes a more balanced game. This game had too much one way traffic.

The six again rule is a blight on the game, it cannot be questioned, it cannot be reviewed & the commentators have obviously been told to shut up about it as even with all of their knowledge they don't know why it's given. Then we all watch the other team do the same thing and......no six again call! VLANDYS has made the game money through GAMBLING, so no one can tell me some of these results (created by six again calls) are not related to where the most money is hinging to profit the gambling industry.

lol it has nothing to do with gambling/match fixing. the 6 again rule was made to keep the game flowing and not pause every 2-3 minutes.
The problem is you don't understand why 6 again is being given. If you watched the game closer and knew the rules it would become pretty obvious. I can call the majority of them before they happen now.

You've got to be joking. This six again rule cannot be questioned or checked so how can the NRL demand that the integrity of their refs/game can never be questioned? It's shonky and everyone with an ounce of intelligence can see it.
agree somewhat (not so much about the gambling thing !) Gotta say though that our referees in Las Vegas had to explain the rulings as they happened as that’s what Americans are used to in the NFL. We should be doing that here too - every ruling explained so the people in the stands and at home are informed. Unfortunately there’s too many grey rules in our game which are up to interpretation and our referees are NOT on the same page, which is why we see it interpreted differently from match to match. A big overhaul is needed both in rules and d their interpretation if this game is to improve
Congrats Parra on a needed win but start the game like that against some other teams & ya won't be so lucky. Just sayin'. Credit where it's due though, ya beat ya archies! Always a good feelin'!

The one where there was an obstruction, a forward pass? are we going to ignore the fact that DCE had a clear knock on the same set manly scored before halftime? manly started strong, then got schooled by the harder working team.
That was an obstruction, if Jake wasn't there Moretti could have taken a step or two towards the gap and have a chance of tackling Tommy

The decision making by that ref was frankly discussing..but you get that in the nrl..particularly for teams in Western Sydney.

Because people don't got the money or time to spare. I love Rugby League. Watch every game. But only got to a few games a year. The last 2 years I think I've been to 4 or 5 games. All at Suncorp because I'm a Broncos fan.
I stopped questioning small crowds.
@@Toast2005 but how come AFL can have 70-80 thousand people on some of their games. And for me, the NRL is far better product. Im not from Australia so I just want to learn.
@@aetfggdgdfgret Because AFL teams play in bigger stadiums. Plus AFL average attendance is 40k. NRL is 20k. The majority of NRL games get sold out because they play at smaller grounds, Bellmore, Leichardt, 4 Pines and Kayo just to name a few.
If those stadiums held more people the NRL attendance would be far higher
