Yeah the dream analogy is good. It's pretty fucking amazing when it's suddenly just "revealed". Or when something just vanishes. It's impossible to describe, although of course phrases like "lucidity without anyone being lucid" etc. do point something out. But in the end the "living quality" of it is just impossible to convey in any way. And who would it be conveyed to anyway...
edit: Oh, and there can be "revelations" where it seems like there is no one there, but there actually still is a sense of being an experiencer somehow, but then that little vague "something" as a very subtle "experiencer" drops and holy fuck is everything just totally empty. Totally. But not in a bad way. The sense of "dead emptiness" and dread etc. was (apperently according to a story about time) still "something" that was somehow experienced by a sense of someone/something there. Total emptiness, total freedom. And not for anyone. No other people anywhere. Just an apparent dream-show of bodies and all the rest. It's fucking awesome in a silent, non-talking way.
    Sorry for the rant. :)

hearing you speak about the "consistency" of the daytime dream compared to the nightime dream can not diminish the dichotomy between them - 🤡❤

Yes. We do keep living in time, why not? Time is as natural to us as all other imaginations. It's just that time is not "out there" in the world but is a derivative of our ability to distinguish forms and imagine forms that were once and those yet to come. Time is in our head, but a great tool though.
