    Have you read "Gaia" by James Lovelock? Personally, it really changed my perspective on the Earth and life.

    Steven Pinker's work has received a lot of criticism from social scientists e.g. public heath, demography, economics, etc. (Pinker is himself trained as a linguist of course).

      yeaaaah, if I were to redo this video I wouldn't include his book. my opinion has changed a bit
