What a hunt you 4 guy’s that was good but that last one was the most hilarious with an elk almost stepping on his toes and both you and the elk flinching that was funny I like to be out there with you guys someday and shoot my big elk for the first time

There you go, forget those mechanical's. My Wasp hammer would have been hanging out of his front shoulder, I GUARANTEE it ! Maaaaaaaaybe it would have hit a bone and not come out, but I assure you it would have been buried out of sight. Screw those mechanical's, there was nothing wrong with the shot placement at all.

Leaving a bull elk over night not being dressed out is a huge risk of spoiled meat. I ve seen elk shot in 20 degree weather and colder over night and the meat was lost. The spoilage start s in there neck where the heat cant escape and works it way to the shoulders. TO SAY IT IS COLD ENOUGH TO LEAVE THE ELK OVER NIGHT (WHEN ITS STILL RAINING) IS JUST WRONG AND I HOPE ANYONE WATCHING THIS READS THIS COMMENT. GET TO TH E ELK AND TAKE CARE OF THE ANIMAL.. THE ELK DESERVES BETTER THEN WHAT THESE GUYS DID.
So it would of been better to.keep pushing him after a questionable shot, And possibly never find him?
