In humans having this amount of babies for a woman is dangerous, there is certain body limit decided by nature for each creature, let's not disturb nature's cycle please. A woman will die if she had to give birth this much babies every year, don't believe then you can read about it, how having so many babies is dangerous for women, it drains their body to hell. The male seahorse can ovulate, hence cannot get pregnant, what happened is that the male consummate the female and when the eggs are fertilize, the female then transfer the eggs into a pouch which acts as a incubator, until the eggs are fully developed.

No, the male does not fertilize the eggs until they are in his pouch.

To break it down:
1 - The female seahorse deposits her eggs into the male's gestational pouch where the eggs are fertilized by the male's sperm.
2 - While the fertilized eggs gestate inside the pouch, the male seahorse supplies the eggs with all the nutrients required for development, including Prolactin, the hormone responsible for milk production in pregnant mammals. Then the eggs hatch inside the pouch.
3 - When the young are ready to be born, the male seahorse expels them with muscular contractions. Typically, seahorses give birth at night and are ready for the next batch of eggs by morning when his mate returns.
To conclude, the word "pregnant" literally means to carry developing offspring within the body. Ergo, male seahorses do get pregnant. The process in which it happens is just different.
