Totally agree and want to believe that as a fan ! And I somewhat believe it. Still, beware that this video is marketing propaganda released by the promoters of the HMT. They have an obvious interest into promoting Green Day as being a best friends forever band. Went to the last show of the tour in Paris, and although it was a great show, everything seemed to be very scripted with absolutely 0 interaction between them.
@@linuxfacile I watched a random fall out boy radio interview recently where they were asked about this tour and one of them said how he was surprised by how close Green Day are, how they always hang out with each other and how well they get along even after all these years
@Cubo Doesn't seem right looking at the warp up shows they played for hella mega. Over there billie joe literally played father of all twice in a row for fun Edit: talking about this whiskey a go go show: czcams.com/video/yCV1Dc7vz-k/video.html
I think it was meant to be a half ass effort to finish out their contract obligations with reprise '1972' sounds like a return to form as far as the clips goes I can't wait to hear it soon.
The Hella Mega Tour was amazing. I’m glad i got to go last year. The trio is just amazing. I love their humor so much, they honestly make my day. They are all just very nice people.
I also saw them last year, I saw them in Miami. They put on such an amazing, I enjoyed every second of it. I also saw Fall Out Boy and Weezer and they were also amazing and flawless. Hella Mega Rules!🤘🎸 They all also seem to be really fun, nice, and amazing people👍
(Just in case the band sees this video and even cares to read the comments) Dear Green Day band, San Diego Ca welcomes you back again and again for infinity! "Walking Contradiction" was the first MTV video I saw and your "Nimrod" tape was the first piece of music I ever asked my mom to buy. Thanks - yours truly, a 37 year old Fan
I was at the one in Berlin on July 1st and it was awesome as usual but I was a little disappointed that they almost only played old songs. I love they're albums from the past 10 years, I would have loved to hear some of those songs. Anyway, I love them so fucking much.
I love Tre and Mike! And respect Whitey and the others. Butbcomenon. Billy is just so fucking adorable. Going to see them twice on days in Jume. Headlining and closing the Isle.Of White Festival. Them 15 minutes from my own home in a show Scotland.
you that point in a drummers career where their playing form almost looks childish? Then at one point they bring their arms in and stop looking like they are flailing around. Tre never got out of that. He looks like he is having so much fun playing.
Yeah everyone had to stay in their own camps sadly to be safe. Had a couple friends in Weezer's camp mention that was one of the precautions that were in place.
@Lachlan Trescott yeah I think it was more that if one of the bands gets sick, they can probably find a fill in band, but if they all do then the concert would be cancelled
You mean the fun stuff in the video? That's normal on tour, recreation comes out of the tour funds so artists don't go crazy living the same day after day. You should what pop stars get to do on tour
you neither informed yourself about touring life nor can you even spell the name of the person youre criticising. go embarrass yourself some more pls, peak comedy
is your brain really this small to think they and their huge crew would be able to easily fly publicly without there being a huge mayhem about it, delaying and endangering everyone and everything
Its cool to see that after 30+ years playing in the same band they still get along between them. They still seem like being best friends.
It's also nice to see that all six treat each other equally and with respect!
Not to mention they still put on a hype show for real

Tré wearing a deathly hallows jacket is my two hyperfixations colliding and I love it
Record company: What songs from Father Of All do you want to do on the tour?
Green Day: Father of what?
Green Day: Better idea let's do a Kiss cover!
@Sunday Girl that makes sense actually
I like Father of All, people that shit on it are uptight elitists

Green Day casually listen to The Network while playing poker
“I don’t know who these guys are, but I dig em’!”
Lol I had to rewind it just to check, that shit is funny!
what song is it?
@@LRE2457 Degenerate, Fentanyl, and Ivankkka is a Nazi. There might be another but I can't hear it tbh
They listen absolutely different band! Not themselves!
Time doesn't change them, I love it. Still having fun and rocking strong well over 30 years.
anyone else want all of them to just wear Go Pros the entire show so we can see what it's like from their perspective?
At one of their recent shows they put go pros on their guitars and Tre’s drum kit
I love how they’re all having fun especially Mike who’s teaching Kevin and the two Jasons to body pop and they’re all jamming and having a great time
Funny to watch them rehearsing «Jesus of Suburbia» harmonies just like in the Bullet in a Bible dvd, after all these years... :)
Sameee thought popped into my mind! 😍
King For a day was hilarious…
This looks like such a wholesome and sober fun.
And there they all are toasting each other with vino.
It's Green Day. Call it wholesome if you want, but I doubt sober is, or ever has been, a constant in their lives :)
@Sunday Girl Or deceased for that matter...
Tre casually wearing a jacket with the Deathly Hallows symbol is pretty cool.
8 minutes of tre cool radiating crackhead energy
Saw this tour in Vienna. The energy was off the charts. Killer show!
Lucky you! That's my dream
I was in Vienna too! Man show was great
I’m a simple man I see a video with green day in the title i click

😂
BILLIE AND JASON’S HANDSHAKE-
I love them they’re such role models
All you green day fans over 35 will appreciate this: How the fuck do they all have full heads of hair. Amazing even if cosmetically aided.
ahhahahha
3:40 They're playing The Network in the background, maybe Green Day finally settled on good terms with them!

i just love how tré always has his sticks on him
I look up to these legends🤘
I want to be in Green Day’s world
Getting to go to the Chicago show was such and awesome experience, you can tell that all of the bands really love what they do

Green Day singing the JP Wentworth 877 cash now ad is fucking insane to me.
The network playing in the big during poker is just 💖

I'm noticing many of the videos of this new tour are being blocked in my country.
Where are you from?
they literally look so good
I lost my chance to see these guys when the pandemic happened and I'm so sad I missed this tour

Fun! Billie Joe will never look older than 12! Such a cutie!🥰
Awesome Band Rockstars for Life watching the masters at work had to do a cover of their song

No Green Day?
No Blink182.
Green Day opened the door

where did you get this footage? :)
Did each band have to stay in their own bubble? Would have liked to see them interact with FOB and Weezer.
They probably want anyway because it’s been a long time without touring

What’s the song at @3:41 ?
Watching the band dealing with Tre's shenigans. -and some five part Harmony without him.

Who ever shot this need a reminder in camera focusing
this is mostly just tre cool doing things

Why is that free copyright music playing in some part of the video? Couldn't they use their own songs, or at least another projects. 💀
