- Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni hit back at France on Friday in a row over who should be responsible for taking in migrants rescued at sea. "I was struck by the aggressive reaction from the French government which from my point of view is incomprehensible and unjustified," Meloni told a news conference, adding that Italy could not be the only destination for migrants from Africa.

As an Italian -American with dual citizenship, I was never more proud of my fellow paesani than when they elected Giorgia Meloni as prime minister. Italy is facing an immigration crisis, and Meloni has every right to defend her country, protect its borders and retain Italy's identity. She has more balls than most male politicians and deserves a medal. I wish we had leaders like her in America. As for the French, if they don't do something about the third world Immigration that's turning their nation into a garbage dump, then they deserve what they get. Give Italy credit, it's people want to save it. Viva L'Italia forte e sempre!
Well clearly something had to have gone wrong in Lampedusa. Her words seem to speak louder than her actions. Saudi Arabia literally opened fire against illegal Ethiopian migrants and was on the news for 2 days max while Europe has been discussing if they should support a blockade for the last 2 weeks.

People from the rest of the world need to know that France is like an old lady always trying to spy on her neighbours over the fence.
