  • This is Part II of my bed transfer video that covers the actual bed transfer from my wheelchair. I touch upon different techniques of feet and hand placement along with shifting of weight to perform a safe controlled transfer with or without assistance.

    very nice balance ! I'm totally impressed… I think there's a lot of practice here… Congrats !

      Thank you Thierry. It has been many years of repetition, but I do contribute some of my balance to the tone in my legs and hips as a result of my spasticity. I have found that the tone gives enough resistance to allow me to move freely while transferring, within a small window of time.

      +suhas c I broke my C-5 after diving into a wave at the beach and hitting a sandbar.
