My husband has learned to braid my really long..I mean long..real thick wavy hair. I taught him French braiding using this video. I tries several others, but this one seemed to do the trick for him, which is a good thing because my hair is now so long I only wear it braided. He's a good guy...he never complains about doing it when asked. Seems to enjoy fooling around with my hair. He's learned a lot about different styles of braids. I'm nuts about him.

Yep, her instructions are great and she makes it look fairly simple....but I still could not do it. My hair is very long and I just got lost when she started telling me what finger does what.....my fingers just couldn't do it. I guess I am back to my easy pony tail. :P

I have a similar problem. The videos I see about how to french braid your own hair all seem to have very straight hair. My hair is THICK and curly/frizzy so it always seems to not go the way of the video.

I love my curly hair but it's like a curse when it comes to braid
