This sport is so underated
I am in love with this game. I have only discovered it a coiple of months and been playing it in Kurdistan for a few months. I was surprised to find out that the league is founded in 2010

As an Australian Football fan, this sport is so good. It’s like a combination of Aussie Rules and American Football.
I reckon you guys need to have a much clearer marked pitch because I found it a bit confusing since it’s on a Soccer field. Plus I reckon the timer at the venue should go up like the AFL and the people at the venue shouldn’t know how long is left in a quarter just to make it more entertaining.
Other than that, this sport is underrated af

Chicago's step 1: Play Josh White every point. He's chilly. Good things happen when he's on the field. His throws make people open. I don't see the shots when he releases, but as the disc takes it's path it becomes clearer how easy it is for his receiver.

Hey Ive got a question. Isn't double-teaming not allowed in Ultimate? Can someone please tell me why there is still always double teams?
AUDL has different rules. Double teaming is allowed in their rules
Are there any other major rule differences

they have refs whereas club ultimate is generally self officiated or has an observer
stall count is to 7 instead of 10 and is done by a ref silently rather than an on field player
double teaming is allowed as mentioned previously
the field size is a bit wider
games are played to a time cap rather than first to [x]
yardage gains/penalties are used in a similar style to american football for fouls done on the field rather than the possession changes in club
coaches can call timeouts from the sidelines, whereas in club its done by an on field player

I have two frisbee discraft ultra-star 175g since 2018, but today when I threw upwards to make them come back like a boomerang, when they hit the ground they broke after a few attempts! Previously, in winter they did not break when they crashed into trees and other objects. Has the expiration date expired or should it be released carefully due to the temperature?
usually discs will go bad after a year, and you can usually break them in half after enough time. Usually just an expiration date sort of deal.
why was there no call for double team

Double-teaming the handler seems extremely unfair... that should be a penalty like it is in USA ultimate rules! It makes sense in basketball/soccer for double-teams to be allowed because the ball-handler can dribble away/move, but in ultimate, they are fixed in place and can only pivot!

@49:41 I've heard commentators, players, and coaches alike applaud this habit of checking downfield while applying the mark. I think it's trash! Can you swivel your head back and forth between the thrower and the cutters downfield AND still take away, like, anything??
This guy couldn't, and neither can you! FOH.
He's side on while marking. Hes taking away the swing and leaving the downfield open because the idea is that his teammates will take the downfield option away (which they didn't). Plus the idea of checking downfield is to see where the space opens up and the guy handling can immediately cut to so as a defender you're aware of where the next move might be and what your body position has to be to prevent a throw to him. Maybe actually coach the game a bit before saying FOH?
