Thank you Cayley. Since I have followed you and started watching your videos, I sold more items and sold within 3 months what I usually sell in at least a year. Thank you and more power to you! 😊
Thank you for adding bread and butter, and the repeat brand buys! It helps with memorization, and those brands are definitely more common to find 🤩
My favorite segment, so much good information! Thank you! ❤❤
Your what sold videos are so helpful! Seeing the tags/logos helps as well. I’m hoping I can find some of those higher end brand names in my area. 😊
I enjoyed watching the informative information on clothing’s brands to sell on Poshmark.
Great week! Love seeing the new brands to look out for. That bat sweater was really cool…sometimes you just have to go with your guts rather than the comps.
Congratulations on your great week! I found Lunya at the bins in 2019. It was my first sale over $100. I’ve only found it one other time in the wild. Thanks for another great video!
super helpful info. thx
Love that sue wong dress!
Another informative video! Thanks for sharing. That Johnny Was shirt almost looks like an imitation. I would not have known.
I have found Planet by Lauren G twice, both were bottoms and they were not one size. They do have a particular sizing. Just wanted to add this incase anyone finds it, it does not have to be one size.
Love your content, Cayley! Can you explain how you run your closet clear out sales on Poshmark, please?
I use Posherva to drop prices during closet clear out days. You can also do this manually on the app. Essentially you just have to drop prices by 10% on CCO days (usually Fridays and Sundays).
I wonder if that style of clothing is hard to find in a 4x/companies that make that style don't provide that size. Maybe thats why the Catherines 4x moves so well.
Great sales! I'm in your group, but I have't joined a call yet. I'm going to have to put it on my calendar.
Thank you Cayley! Ace & Jig I know I have seen that brand before and SKIPPED it as it looked unfamiliar and maybe the tag looked cheapy to me. Know I know to check on it next time. Wow on that Jacket / Coat. Did you actually put Mob Wife in the Theme part of the item specifics or somewhere as a tag? Thanks, D
I can't remember if it was in the description of that particular item but we are definitely using that term in our listings where they apply!
I found a Xirena floral blouse last week and the comps were great. Got home and saw it had a big hole in the front. 😢lol
Hi Caley,
Thanks for showing us beginners the way, you're videos are always awesome.
Based on your experience would like to ask the following questions:
How long it took (months/years) to get $1000 net per month, how much inventory did you have?
How long it took (months/years) to get $1000 net per week, how much inventory did you have?
To get either $1000 sales per month/week what factor contributes to it the most: average price, type of clothing, or qty of inventory?
Thanks in advance
Hello! This would be a very long answer so I'm going to give you the gist:
1. The amount of items you have in your store doesn't matter. What matters is what is selling. You can have a 200 item store but sell all 200 in a week if they are desirable enough items. I would focus on keeping your inventory low and picking up high str items.
2. I was able to reach 1k per month when I started listing 1k worth of items per month *that also had a good STR*
3. The factor that I believe contributes the most to meeting these goals is Sell Through Rate.
If you are not already in the Resellers Edge Mentorship group, I'd highly recommend it to you. We can break these numbers down for you and give you an actionable plan on how to meet your goals for your specific situation.
it is impressive I want to say
Thanks for the video. When you show the brand label, would it be too much trouble to show the material label too? (If it's too much trouble, I can still look it up on your eBay and Poshmark stores -- I follow you on both platforms 😊)
Hi, I really enjoy these ‘what sold’ videos! You put so much effort in. I am just curious if you ever feel like sharing this information might actually hurt your own sales?
If several people (your youtube viewers) start picking up similar items as what you pick up… you may not get the sale, your viewer(s) might make the sale.
Or maybe the youtube revenue you make kinda fills that gap? But- youtube doesn’t seem to be a big payout for most youtubers.
I definitely think that sharing my store publicly negatively impacts me. When a lot of traffic is brought to your store but no one buys anything, it tells the platforms that what you have listed isn't desirable and it hurts you in search. But, in terms of hurting my own sourcing, I don't believe so. I am always researching and staying current on new brands and what is selling. I believe there's enough out there for everyone and I think in terms of knowing what to pick up, I am ahead of the curve.
Really cool, Cayley! Could you tell me please - where do you sorce your items?
I thought most came from people who send you items now @@cayleyelaine
Hi, I have a question. Do you put keywords like you mentioned “Lagenlook” in eBay listing too? If so where?
If it is an item that strongly represents the item, we will put it in the title.
I needed eBay therapy on yesterday! I was done! I’m not understanding what they want from us 😢😮😮😮😮
It's been a little rough for everyone these past couple of months. Hang in there, it all evens out!
Do you have a link to the pretty hangers you use for picture taking?
Hi! I do. ☺️ if you click on the linktree below there is a supplies list with everything I use.
linktr.ee/cayleyelaine
do you cross list? On average how long do most of your items take to sell?
Do you go thrifting at local stores? Goodwill and Salvation Army by me have nothing but stuff like Old Navy and Shein. (not sure why anyone would buy Shein used)
I do crosslist. I have never tracked exactly how long but most things I am currently picking up sell within 90 days. Yes, I thrift at local thrift stores like GW and SA.
New to the channel!! Are you a one man band? Either ways props to you 👏 283 sold?? I could never 💀😂
Help. I have a buyer add 30 items to a bundle. There is no way I can fit them in one box. Shipping cost is going to be outrageous. Poshmark needs make a limit. Any advice?
That does stink. We've had that happen many times. Your only option is to just send it or cancel the order and have the buyer break the bundle up, but you risk losing the sales if they don't rebuy.
Cayley or anyone experiencing offers from Poshmark that you accept and then the payment doesn’t go through? More than usual?
It happens from time to time. I wouldn't say I've noticed it more than normal.
I would faint. 😂
Vintage warehouses…???? That’s a thing?? Where- how do you find them?😮
I found this one through Instagram. Maybe try searching on IG or Google maps?
The Lee Anderson could’ve sold under Penny Lane keywords, no? Seems very underpriced.
❤❤❤
❤
😀👍
Wow making this in a month wld b life changing for my family right now cant even imagine a week. Must be nice not having a family to support and making this kinda of money
Hi! Do you resell? I actually have quite a few people I have to support.
She has employees office space and has to buy inventory every week to replace what she sells so you just think she brings in over $8000 a week profit she will get there for sure but it’s a lot of hard work and consistency and growth.
Example of Lagenlook aesthetic-
For those of us who have ever watched the Golden Girls ….Dorothy Zbornak!! Her entire costume wardrobe in the epitome of Lagenlook
