Hi, need help i just bought an expired domain I did everything in this video but doest work, by the way the domain is currently being use as custom domain in blogger website, i just do it to reindex the expired domain on google, just to let google know that the domain is still active.
Then I want it to redirect to my main site since it is already index, but after i did everything in this video nothing happen, it still on blogger and didn't redirect to my main site.

I have followed the video and everything seems to work. However in double checking with a 301 checker service there showing 2 redirects and not 1. This as explained by checker can confuse search engines. Its giving both a 301 and 302 results. 301 = permanent redirect, 302 is temporary. The problem with this is the juice/power/authority for 302 redirects is not transferred and in the case of an aged domain will not benefit from the purpose of the redirect in the first place. Anybody else have this issue? I have tried it on 2 different domains and same results.

Redirects and DNS could take up to 48 hours for the changes to take effect. Usually this happens more quickly though, generally within an hour.
