Majority of Newcastle fans would celebrate an England world cup regardless (I'd assume)
Part of it is that England SHOULD win a World Cup. Not that they're easily the best team or anything, but they always have one of the best squads and they've been part of that many knockout stages. Newcastle haven't been near a Champions League trophy in their history, so it would be a lot more special in that regards.

He didn’t like the ‘who’s best right back question ‘ and stuttered. I think he feels he’s one of them. Tbh pound for pound (meaning wing play, overlap, one on ones, defending for those who are quite thick) I would say it’s Kieran. He’s better than arnold defensively and similar with passing. I think other than bruyne Kieran is the best passer of the ball in the league and although he isn’t maybe as fast as walker (who I don’t rate much these days) he’s all round better than walker. The only player perhaps better outside the league is cancelo. He is sensational. Come on. He dominated in Europe for Man City and if city keep him they’ll not miss bruyne as much. So underrated. Cancelo by far best defender in world. Kieran in the premier league. As I said, people are sweet on arnold. There’s others James (who commits too many fouls and gets caught out) there’s Gomez of Liverpool who ain’t bad, but yeah. Not just right back but overall full back it has to be Kieran. I don’t care what anyone says pound for pound and passing ability it’s Kieran. He gets forward he leads he is a very good guy and players struggle to cope when Kieran is on top form in a game. So defo Kieran. N I could tell he hesitated on that question. No one can pass a ball that accurately and it shows in his stats. Kieran has the most touches in a match for us, the most successful pass rate. If anything even our own fans should appreciate him more.

If James didn’t get injured soo often I’d say him, TAA should not even be in this conversation considering how much he leaves to be desired when if comes to defending, but Walker and Trippier are both class, honestly wished England had a way to play all of them as it’d make the right side of pitch absolute hell for other teams
Trent is arguably the best player on the list, but not the best right back if that makes any sense.

TAA isn't a right back by a long way ,it's a hard decision on what his position should be called .
Personally I like all of them and think they’re all good in their own way…England is actually spoiled at right back but I honestly still would love to see all 4 on the right side it could be soo menacing, TAA and Trippier going forward with James and Walker defending sounds like it could be solid to me.
But alas a man can dream.
