Hey Darren, interesting light. I've always been a fan of Wuben. The L1 holster looks similar to my C2 holster in that it will hold a spare 21700 battery in the pocket on the side with the tab. If true, then that's useful and cool. Does this support powerbank function like the C2? Good vid. 👍

Hi Judy, yep that's right - you can add a spare 21700 to the elastic pocket on the side. And yes it does support powerbank function but they don't include a USB C to C cable. Thank you !

They failed that they didn't utilize a W1 for the throw beam in my opinion...

The W1/2 are my favourite throwy LEDs too, though most people find the beam profile too narrow

@@DarrenYeoYT Indeed but not for this specific light cause it already got the 519 for closer distances.. The sst40 is plenty wide enough for any tasks thus it beats the purpose of having the rotating head along with another floody led in it.

@@zampination I was surprised they didn't use an SFT40. But I think it'd run too hot anyway. W1 @ 3A would be perfect.

Too bad they used cool white for all 3 emmiter options. Even the nichia 519a.

I don't think this is the end of this rotating head design. I'm sure we'll see more variants :D

I heard the 519a is claimed 600 lumens but actually 262 lumens.

It steps down a lot so probably ends up at that.

@@DarrenYeoYT I read a review where he tested it Zeroair I think it's called but he said it's not 600 it's 262 on his chart.

@@avgrim7729 hmm I'll have to check it out. I reckon it is definately brighter than 262 lumens on switch on. But after 30 seconds, I wouldn't be surprised

@@DarrenYeoYT Do you know how easy it is to get to the sst-40? They have a new led now that you can replace the sst-40 with that are 3000k and 4000k.
