The way they painted the blue walls isn’t how professional painters normally paint walls, which is even vertical or horizontal strokes, not painting every which way. Of course, if instead they wanted to make the walls ‘a painting,’ then all such standard methods, that create even color and coverage, can be thrown out. Both teams showed real artistic flair. Both rooms are very unique in their own styles. No matter who decorated which room, I am always drawn to the HEALING interior design. But if I am in the mood for quirky stuff, I'd definitely go run to the extraordinary room. 😇

Fun fact/story:
I used to work for IKEA. I even went to the headquarter in Älmhult, Sweden to help decide on our Christmas purchases since that was my department's responsibility (in freakin May but still, fun! 😄). Anyway, one day my boss was trying to assemble a new really simple cabinet with one front and one drawer for our work station in said Christmas area. I went to do some office work and came back *two hours later* to four grown men from four different departments fiddling with the cabinet with a confused look and a heated discussion of different "solutions" to why the front didn't fit. I laughed my a$$ off (on the inside, because I liked my job 😂) and in a very dry Taehyung-style voice I suggested that maybe the front would fit better *if they hadn't turned the cabinet upside down before attaching it!* Took them a couple of seconds of buffering before they quickly removed the front, turned the cabinet around, reassembled it correctly and were gone like the wind. I walked around grinning the entire day after that. 😁 (Did I mention that I'm female and these four guys were the worst boys-club in the entire place?! 🤭)
So remember this the next time you're struggling to put together IKEA furniture - even the employees get confused sometimes! 🤣
