Here's why Grant Douglas Ward is "the best since Romanoff" & "Phil Coulson's last hope". This guy is basically James Bond, meets Ethan Hunt meets a big stupid puppy. Just a lot more complex & layered. Maybe one of the best TV characters ever written. He really could do ANYTHING.

I've watched the entire series in shock since I discovered that Grant was the part of Hydra & as the series progressed, his complex personality literally started making me depressed. He was so good in the season 1 & as the series continued, he became opposite of what we saw in the starting. I wish he'd become the part of Coulson's team again but it never really happened & he became more scarier 🥺

BeforeTheFallOfRome If you do decide to watch the show, prepare for one hell of an emotional roller coaster ride of feels! I highly recommend it despite said roller coaster though, it's my favorite show, and Grant Ward is a major badass!

Does he have a comic boook counter part? Like he doesn't has to have one. Obviously. Because in the comics Hydra and S.H.I.E.L.D. are probably as well big agencies... so they couldn't show like all agents lol

they misused his character so damn much after season 1. they shoulda ended his story then as much as i loved him and brett dalton's portrayal.
