  • Learn how to solve the "Connected without internet" issue plaguing all Samsung Galaxy phones.
    I recommend upgrading to a Wifi 7 or 6e Network (especially if your wifi is slow or drops often)
    Asus BE96U Wifi 7 amzn.to/47s6GNi
    Asus GT-AXE16000 Wifi 6e amzn.to/3lmhlHn
    Asus GT-AXE11000 Wifi 6e amzn.to/3yUpS7g
    Asus AXE11000 Wifi6e (2-Pack) Mesh Nodes amzn.to/3Lxw390
    Asus GT6 Wifi 6 (2-Pack) Mesh Nodes amzn.to/3lAVJH0
    Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra amzn.to/3JtxnHj
    Samsung Galaxy S23 amzn.to/3lAvHDP
    Make sure your phone's time & time zone matches your router's time and time zone. Then use "Phone MAC" and "Static IP" under Wifi Settings. Randomized MAC and DHCP causes connectivity issues. If you do not have a mesh network with multiple wireless access points then disable the roaming assistant on your router (feature that boots devices when the signal strength is too weak). I have a mesh network with two nodes, and I'm running -70dbm disconnect.
    In some instances the Google Wi-Fi Provisioner system app, if installed on your device, may be causing a similar issue.

    I just can't thank you enough bro, simply setting the MAC adress option to "phone MAC" resolved the issue. After One Ui 4.1 update my phone wasn't switching from one node to another as I moved around the house, so I got the "connect without internet" warning and from then had two options: go back closer to the node my phone was connect to or switch off/on my wifi so it would connect to the closest node.

    S20 plus here, Man you don't know how happy I'm. random cut offs, CZcams was impossible to watch with random stops and constant buffers. I was giving up and blamed the fucking WiFi chip itself thinking that i need to replace the phone and what kept me going was the data plan. it affected WiFi availability, speed and the browsing experience. All is gone now
    Random MAC was the issue. Setting it to Phone MAC did the trick (embarrassing I know). Nothing on Samsung support/forums about this and I have been looking for a solution for months. Many many thanks.

    • @TrickMasterPC
      @TrickMasterPC  Před rokem +1

      The solution in my video should solve the problem. If not, then it could be your router. A firmware upgrade and factory reset may be required. Also if you have a cable modem, those usually need to be replaced every 5 to 7 years.

      @@TrickMasterPC Actually I have solved the problem, it was a system app known as 'Google Wi-Fi provisioner' which was causing the problems, so disabling it fixed all problems relating to Wi-Fi instantly. It was launched by Google upon the arrival of Android 12, and it is a buggy app. Some Samsung phones are having problems with the app as well.

    • @TrickMasterPC
      @TrickMasterPC  Před 2 lety +2

      Go to Wifi settings, click the 3 dots in the top right corner. Under Advanced settings, disable Turn on Wifi automatically AND Wifi power saving mode. Then test. If the same issue occurs try disabling Switch to mobile data and see if that makes any difference. Be sure your wireless router is using a channel that isn't overly congested (overlap with your neighbors networks). Also ensure your roaming assistant router config is set to -70 or -75db. If your signal strength is low it may be kicking you off. If you have SMART wifi enabled on your router where it will automatically switch between 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6Ghz then you should disable this and set individual SSIDs for each band. SMART switching doesn't work well at all. If you have another wireless device like a camera or something that is near your router this will cause interference with your router. You can also try temporarily dropping all other wireless devices from your network to see if your phone has stability. If it does then some other wireless device on your network is causing airwave issues.

Use WiFi Radar to find the best control channels on all 3 bands and hardset those channels. On your phone, select forget network and reconfigure that from scratch. • @TrickMasterPC
      @TrickMasterPC  Před rokem +1

      These settings are specific to the wireless network, so when you connect to a different network the static IP settings wouldn't apply. The only global setting that could affect connectivity to other networks is the change from randomized MAC to hardware MAC. But this would only impact your connectivity if those other networks employ MAC filtering. Check ur advanced connection settings for wifi to see if the option to automatically connect to known (stored/saved) networks is enabled.

      You're right about that. It's mostly because Samsungs' devices are pushing the bleeding edge of technology. Update your router's firmware, then factory restore and recreate your configs. If you followed my instructions and your getting the same error then your router's wifi advanced configs are not jiving with your phone. Some firmware updates require a factory reset on the router. I just had to factory rest and reconfigure from scratch last week due to Samsung throwing invalid password error on the 6e SSID when there was no issue with the password at all. Take screenshots of router configs, don't modify the advanced wifi settings until you've confirmed your phone's wifi connection is working.

      Back-up your device, then factory restore, also ensure you're running latest software (android) version for your phone. Update your routers firmware too!

      Turn off wifi power saving mode under advanced wifi config on your phone. Download wifi analyzer app on your phone and check channel overlap with your neighbors, set best channels for 2.4 and 5Ghz. Make sure your router has latest firmware, factory rest and reconfig router. Power cycle both router and modem. Make sure the AC power cords for you modem and router and secure, tight in wall outlet, if they are lose or slip in/out too easily this can be a huge problem, but little well known. Personally, I just had to replace my cable modem. Over time the thermal compound under the heat sinks dries out and the modem starts overheating easily and glitching out. Same goes for cheaper routers. General rule of thumb is to replace modem/router every 5 years. I got a Motorola DOCSIS 3.1, with 2.5Gbe WAN port. Now I'm getting over 12000mbps. I had a spectrum docsis 3.1 before but only a 1Gbe WAN port... this solution works as long as all other hardware is in perfect working order and wifi network is stable with all other wifi devices.
