since you are putting out quite long comparison videos, probably good idea to mention how you have the dip switches inside the duelist and blues power set. even if its just stock as there is a-lot of flexibility in those dip switches. also, do a closer in, bit longer screen shot of settings on the pedals like you did half way in

I'd say running the Duelist (and the other King Tone overdrive pedals) off a battery makes a bigger difference than 9v or 18v. I just picked up the King Tone Battery Box and that is an easy way to switch out batteries without having to crack open the back of the pedal.

Excellent - thank you, need to give that a go :)

Have the King Tone Battery Box and agree that I like the battery over the 9v/18v supply. Especially the super cheap (crap) Zinc Carbon batteries sound best!

Thanks man. I thought it would be a bigger difference. I sold the duellist and kept the jan ray for the same reason.

There you see how opinions can differ : I was playing around this morning with my Strat into my Bloomfield drive (clean channel) and some pedals (Ibanez TS808HW, Analogman KoT, Cornerstone Gladio and the Duellist) and my conclusion was how amazing the Duellist can sound!! :o)
Then I watched your video and you stated you are somehow disappointed by the exact same pedal... That's funny and shows that everybody is different...which is good!!
You have one pedal (Protein) I do not have...and it sounds amazing in this comparison...maybe you should do a video featuring the Protein alone!!
Keep on doing what you do, it's great and you seem to be a nice guy too!! Thumbs up!!
