I dont know how people are even able to afford one of these. With a few options the price is over $50k compared to a can-am that is just as capable with similar options for $35k

Just out of curiosity, does the Polaris ride command have an auxiliary input for hooking up other items to the stereo such as SiriusXM satellite radio. If it doesn’t have an auxiliary input one can one be installed on the ride command.
You can blue tooth SiriusXM thru their app from your phone

I had a 2002 ranger 6x6 but had to sell it when I moved to Alaska that thing would climb a tree really miss it but bought a 2023 sportsman 850 hd and love it my wife and I are in our 60s it’s so easy to use and I can use it for hunting

Why are they not 50 state road legal at this point? I would probably trade in my rmax and my jeep to get one if they were road legal.
These are wicked cool. 3/4 ton UTV, who would have thought? Next time you run a pulling test, call you show us how well the Rangers stops its loads? Some of us Ranger customers don't live in the flat heartland, but on mountains and valley sides. I'd be very hesitant to stop 3,500lb going down a hillside or mountain side. Thoughts? Opinions? Official recommendations? Testimonials on this brand new Ranger 1500?
It needs an integrated trailer brake controller.
They didn't mention that this machine comes with vacuum boosted brakes. I'd image that would help a bit.

It’s going to be a three year unlimited mile full bumper to bumper warranty from Polaris across the board because their machines are now so dependable. 👍🏻

@@turbo-brian I was being sarcastic in my post. Polaris has priced themselves out of the market. For what they claim they should come with that great warranty. Yamaha has a 10 year belt warranty. If Polaris has this new metal drive belt then give us a warranty showing their product is superior. My experience with owning a Polaris is very poorly built product from China.

The target buyer is a wealthy farmer or a bro-dude who is ready to drop some cash on a sxs. This isn’t for a blue collar guy, that would be a ranger 500. You aren’t the owner of a ranch or on a yearly salary, that’s you’re problem you can’t afford everything.

Kinda cool commercial for the new xd ranger as that is pretty much what I have been using my 2017 polaris ranger 900xp for when we did the fencing on my aunts property we rented a pull behind auger for digging new holes for all the posts that was my complete reason for getting the ranger to build my credit and for work as well as play the best of both worlds

I bought a ranger northstar ultimate in 2022 and the radio on this ride command could not pick up a station if it was sitting next to it. when I asked dealer about it I was told they were all that way. This is my last ranger.
Ride comfort test on flat ground. Wow.

Can have a moped rip the streets but these are still just strictly off-road. At that price. Crazy.
I love it, but still need to put doors on them, I know farmers might not want them but you could fix them to take off and on and when they put there grand baby in there they will want them, I paid 1900 dollars for half doors for my defender, rediculous after paying that much for machine

Missed the mark by not having a long bed option.
Still not street legal in Pennsylvania. Needs turn signals, horn, license plate holder and light. Very simple for factory standard. When traveling from field to field on the farm you have to be on the roads legally.
A two-way radio slot and power source and antenna mount would be nice too.

So basically a mid sized truck that is not legal to drive on the road, or golf cart on steroids. These are pretty sweet toys. But wickedly expensive toys for rich guys. Average guy cant justifiy the cost for this. I cant justify this for my farm when a used 1 ton truck will do more and cost less. Plus I dont see to many of these still in service 20 years from now. Just my 2 cents.

Pretty darn pricey, this and the expedition would have been laughed at a few yrs ago at $30 or $40k, but that's the world we live in. I get that this will go more places than a full size truck but I can't see the average person taking this over one, I wouldn't, but I'm not a rancher or farmer so prob not the target market.

Farmers aren’t going to pay 40k+ for a utility sxs. Sorry Polaris but farmers are looking to save money everywhere they can and those price points are no good. Just like the new xpedition and most of your models, these are way too expensive! These are registered vehicle prices and they aren’t selling, so why would you think these will sell. Who in design and marketing r&d are setting these prices. Just like the car market these things will set at most dealers. You can have as many accessories and new designs as you want. Not worth the price! Sad to see manufacturers doing this.
Incorrect. I worked for a rancher than ran 4 northstars fully loaded. And he’s has more on order. His local dealer can keep enough new ones in stock. It’s a business tool and is used every day!!

Not toys with hope of making money. We buy mules and John deer utility that don’t cost near 40k+. I think you should grab a map along side that book and go out to a farm and see what a farmer is buying for 40k+ and it’s not a ranger! I can guarantee that!!
Not sure where you are getting your info. Polaris had a year wait for rangers last year and good luck finding an Xpedition. They are months back ordered at the moment and will be for a long time.
This ranger will probably sell out for the year in a month or two.
I met a farmer last year who orders 50 new rangers a year. 40 for the help. 2 fully loaded northstars, 1 for him and his wife. And 8 more non cab units for backups or other use.
There is more money out there than you think
