Should Scott Foster still be allowed to ref NBA games?
Fuck no
Hell no worst referee ever
Absolutely NOT!!!!
I don’t see you complain Scott Foster before CP3 joining the warriors lol
Yes him and Tim donaghy are the best ever refs
52 free throws against the warriors in the phoenix game btw was absolute filth
Every time Scott Foster is the ref in a game you are watching, turn the game off. Then the NBA will have to get rid of him. He's corrupting the game
They should make a full schedule of when and where he's reffing and fans just should refuse to show up to the games live. If all NBA fans got behind it and stopped watching and showing up to games he refs, the league would remove him fast af.
I'm doing this
😂😂😂 so u just going to miss a game to "protest" and nobody will care
@@joaquindiaz5296it has to be a group effort..if not, it wont work
@@joaquindiaz5296 It has to be a group effort and it has to be intentional. The NBA only acts when revenue takes a hit. People not watching and coming to games when Scott Foster Refs sends a very clear message and the league will have to act in the best interest of the business.
All NBA refs should have to answer to the media. Screw their union stance on this.
Yes!! Make them EVEN BIGGER public figures... idiot.
So true, why only the players? That’s messed up
First off, players make 10x-100x what refs make. They will quit and the refs will get worse.
Also, the biggest media influences would have the most psychological control over refs. It's not a good idea...
@@coreyczech Bro... Imagine how much responsiblity you would have if you were paid 250k - 500k in any other job.
They will quit huh?? It's job where they'll crawl on their knees and beg not get fired. You're so ignorant -100 IQ brain
@@coreyczechfirst off, refs are paid enough to become millionaires in a couple seasons. They're not starving boys in Yemen and aren't going to quit one of the most lucrative jobs on the planet. And saying that NBA players earn a lot more is irrelevant
Second of all, media can't control guys that literally have to defend and justify their calls after each game. Sticking to the rules would become their only way of avoiding controversy
Conclusion: You're not making much sense
my gut feel is that he has something that the NBA doesn't want to be known to the public. Therefore, he is able to keep his place in this organisation. That perhaps, the cost of losing him is more than the cost of keeping him and making sure it stays silent. Can you imagine if it is known that NBA championships are actually rigged? that would certainly hurt the stock of the NBA
They covered up the gambling by having Donaghy take all of the blame, so it looked like one rogue person and not a larger problem. By doing this, they covered up Foster's involvement... So he's basically untouchable now, because if they fired him, he'd just spill the beans and rat them all out for the cover up, and the NBA would fall apart from such a massive scandal.
Might have something to do with that Kings/Lakers series years ago...
Yeah no lmao Foster isn’t the only NBA ref other ex refs would’ve spilled the beans by now
Nba needs to investigate every bad call or technical calls the reff make, if found guilty they should be fine.... that will eliminate alot of bad calls and reff taking their personal bis on the court
That's assuming that the nba doesn't have anything to do with it.
I wouldn't be surprised if the nba only let the refs do anything because they somehow help them make more money as well, you know many billionaires did, are doing, and will do anything to get richer
@@pao217lmao exactly, why tf they think refs are their own entity?
You wish, the moment NBA even just said they would think about it, refs union will organize a boycott, worse a strike. Who doesn't know refs today are so much worse than what's 20 years ago, we know, Silver knows, and even the refs know, but who else can you get to officiate the game? No one, they are in the dominance here, unless NBA have the balls to cut all of the refs, they can't cut any, OK maybe one or two who are not in power among them.
And Scott Foster of all people is even bigger than that, at this point we can be sure he must have something on the NBA that is heavy, maybe enough to invoke a federal investigation that can result in NBA shutting down, Adam Silver does not even have the guts to comment on any of the Foster bullshit, and didn't we all hear about his connection with the scapegoat Tim Donaghy.

"I wish the NBA was a league where we didn't know the refs' names."
I wish the NBA was a League wherein the players weren't b1tches
He is allowed in the NBA because the NBA has tried hard to cover up all the ref gambling... by getting rid of him they would essentially be acknowledging that their league was corrupt and not legit for some time and it would hurt their image badly. The league feels they are (slightly) better off pretending like nothing happened and that Scott is just a polarizing person.
They could have quietly let him go anytime in the last decade and no one would have noticed.
Acording to Gilbert Arenas who explained it on his yt show, Scott Foster cursed out CP3's son after a game for dribbling a basketball in his way. CP wanted to lay hands on Foster for it which led to the meeting.
That never happened he's a bad ref but Paul was lying
Knowing how to fix games subtely is a real skill, the NBA aint gonna let him down
A lot of people don't realize it because of how subtly they try to do it. They've figured out a science that works most of the time. It's still possible to beat the refs, but you better be shooting the lights out from 3. It's funny how much worse they get once the coach they're going against loses their challenge.
Nothing subtle about it. If it were subtle we wouldn't have videos on it
It's so subtle that most casuals know the guy as the worst ref in the league lol. SO SUBTILE
Scott Foster needs to be fired!!!

Scott Foster.. Is he a betting man to cheat the game with calls?🤔
@@glennjthompson332 maybe maybe 🤔
He’s got something on someone who’s higher up. That’s the only answer that makes sense.
The reffing is the one and only thing that makes nba games often times not entertaining and frustrating or depressing.
The refs should have to be as good at what they do as the players are at what they do.
Based on this information, the NBA needs to have an investigation and make an example of Scott Foster. There is no doubt he is corrupt, petty, and biased. He absolutely should not be allowed to referee Warriors games.
On a side note, I believe that the NBA referees have a union, and if anyone has ever been in management and if you’ve ever had a problem employee who somehow slipped through the cracks and gotten seniority, it is virtually impossible to fire them, unless they do something really really bad and it’s well documented. Some unions are really strong, and as their #1 purpose (Unions) is to protect workers from potentially abusive and bad management practices, unfortunately, the double edged sword is that while good employees are protected from potentially corrupt managements, terrible employees are also protected and good managers can’t fire them.
Would love to see his stats Vs the Warriors
Especially during the 2016 Finals
The question is why is that ref talking about CP3's son?
Imagine how many coaches lost their job and players didn't get a ring because of this beef!💯💯 SHEESHHH
great name btw lolll
The best point!
@@thisaintart 😅 Thanks!💯💯
The problem is the Refs are making things too personal. Its entertainment! Just make the right calls and if you make a mistake, own it, make the correction, and move on with the game. Once I saw Giannis get ejected for dunking on someone a few weeks back, I knew the situation was at its worst. This issue with Chris was just more confirmation. Scott has been a questionable ref for some time now because he was implicated in the referee gambling scandal some years back, so you always have to scrutinize his calls.
If James harden say you are rude and Arrogant, you are out of this world it came from James harden's mouth😂
Scott Foster is the Dillon Brooks of officiating
He pokes bears?
Yea but at least Dillion CAN be likable. Edit: Honestly, I’m starting to like him 🤷🏽♂️ He’s overhated while foster on the other hand needs to be cleaning jockstraps
Nah, taht is a disrespect to Dillion, no matter how unlikable he can be.
Don’t tarnish Dillon’s image like that man

Gilbert said what happened on his channel. Not gils arena but on his youtube channel when he is just blogging in front of his camera. Chtis paul's son was playing outside the locker room, where he was he wasnt wrong for being there but he was in the hallway. Foster comes by on the golf cart things yelling at his son to move the "Eff" out of his way. Word got back to Cp3, that meeting was had that he spoke about, nothing got resolved. Only thing they could come up with was scott wont ref his games but he still ended up reffing games obviously and now we here.

Scott Foster just handed Cleveland a victory over Minnesota last night.
This is nuts. NBa lets it slide without questioning?
NBA officiating is elitist cult that last thing they do is apologize or going back on their words. Look at coaches challenges during the games, they won’t over turn the call unless they completely miss the obvious.
nba uses it to make more $
Let it slide? They LOVE it.
That shot of Boogie shaking his head at Foster is gold!!
I was born in Seattle in 1973, where I grew up. Sonics and Blazers fan. Japanese-American and male. I have a story about Scott Foster, from 1995-96. It came I think three DAYS after the Magic Johnson incident. I was at a Portland at Seattle game. Detlef Schrempf wasn't getting calls on offense, and he was complaining at Scott Foster a lot. He upfaked Clifford Robinson, and drew contact, and finally got to the free-throw line. Scott Foster said to Detlef, "The reason why I didn't give you any calls earlier, is because I didn't feel like it. And, I'm not gonna give you any more calls tonight." Before shooting his free-throw, Detlef mumbled, "F--ked Magic over." Scott Foster blew his whistle, "That's it! Technical foul on Number 11!" The Key Arena went crazy. Detlef was saying, "You thought that I was talking about YOU?" Detlef complained to respected veteran referee Hugh Evans, and Hugh was trying to calm Detlef down. Schrempf kept complaining at Scott Foster. To end the 3rd quarter, Detlef shot a 3-pointer, and Dontonio Wingfield of the Blazers knocked him down at the buzzer. No foul. Detlef got so mad, he slapped the floor. He then stook up, and glared at Scott Foster for a couple of minutes!
its honestly insane they let this happen
Excellent video and commentary. Thanks.
We as viewers and fans and lovers of the sport should come together somehow and act as one and send the nba a massage and stop watching if this doesn’t get fixed!
What about the lakers warriors last season?
How long do we put up with this!?!?!
But not much the little man can do. And it is almost impossible for people to stand together on this??
This video is well done and great. But it makes me mad! How can he get away with this?
Please hoops… make more of these videos. Expose the referees! And we can only hope that other will follow then. And maybe that could be the start for us to come together and demand a change - if they want that new TV deal !!! They need us!!!
Great content. Excellent homework
What kind of baggage does Scott foster have on the NBA to be letting this slide for so long
The gambling and the corruption in the league

Holy shit. Great work.
This kind of youtube video should be watched by the NBA
Great question and great reporting. Now I wonder if Foster doesn't impact some outcomes in games that he shouldn't? Why does he still have job? I wonder if he has some compromising pics of someone?

Changes must be made period. As fans we shouldn’t have to endure an emotional referee while watching an forced emotionless game. No celebrations, no taunting, no hyping the crowd up. The game is dying because of these officials!
Excellent video!
This is fucking insane... and with online betting, there's even more separation between refs and "gambling".. id be interested in seeing how many of these refs got a friend/fam member with big winnings.
Guys I went to the warriors at suns game last week and was so confused when CP got ejected
“The extender” was a part of the betting scandals as well
Yes!
As told in the video…..😅

@@FaxQe I typed it before he brought it up in the last minute. But yeah I know, he doesn't go into depth about it really idkw. Didn't even bring up the NBA not allowing the FBI to investigate Scott Foster & the fact that Scott probably rigs games for the NBA for the last 20+ years to grow revenue. That's why he doesn't get fired, REFs yes work for the NBA but you get what i mean
start a hashtag on all nba posts: #investigatescottfoster
This kinds of things makes the defference between a superstar and legends. It seem like Cp3 emotions gets into him while the likes of Kobe, Jordan, Bird and i can say Steph too will make you regret the injustice they think you just commited.
People act like they refs have gotten worse, but forget that Tim Duncan once got a tech for laughing on the bench by the actual worst ref in the history of the nba: Joey Crawford. That said, Scott Foster is awful. He’s no Joey Crawford though.
Crawford was indeed the worst of all time
I came here to say that this is accurate. The Extender now made the playoff game - Nugget VS Timberwolves 2-2 (Game 4)
We got the NBA dangerous Danny Davis.
If you know you know.
Scott Foster is the reason LeTurd has rings in the first place
You mean the goat?
I didn't know him or his name until you said it. If I were on the board, this would be a conversation at the next meeting about getting rid of these guys, or giving them penalties for interfering. This has to stop, it's ruining the game and it's been going on too long.
This sounds a lot like that situation that occurred with Allen Iverson and that one ref where he's on record as saying that they came together and put a hit out on Allen Iverson and we're going to call everything they could think of on him to show him who's in charge and teach him some respect. Another name that comes to mind is Hugh hollins, that rough right there changed the course of Scottie pippen career and an entire season of NBA and quite possibly who may have won the championship that year after Jordan retired
Thanks for the clarity. I think that you, the teams, and the players should petition the NBA to relegate this guy to desk duty if they can’t permanently ban him from playing in the NBA.
One thing that makes me believe the NBA is complicit w bad ref calls is that when a questionable call is made, they replay an unrelated previos play instead of replaying the play with the questionable call.
It makes zero sense to do that …
Thanks for mentioning the rigging. After watching the Untold doc I cannot see the league thr same way
It's a problem.
NBA needs to fix it.
I think you answered it when you brought up the fixing of games.
Chris Paul & Scott Foster BEEF still ALIVE 😅😂😅😂😅😂😅
Just some clarification about the son stuff. I don’t know when this was but saw a tweet about it earlier today. CP3’s son was playing in the tunnel, Scott Foster has the said “get the fuck out of my way” (or something to that affect), then when the kid has refused to move, he’s said some other words at the kid.
You have don't need a degree in statistics to understand confounding variables. Scott fosters is viewed by the NBA to ref important games - that means game 6's and 7's where losses are more likely for CP3.
And now The Extender has a pivotal game 4 of the MN-DEN series. The last time Foster officiated a MN game, Rudy Gobert was fined $100k for making a "money gesture" toward Foster after a questionable call.
Gils Arena gave good info today on the situation
Doubt it
Scott Foster is who the NBA uses now to fix games.. Darth Donaghious and his apprentice Darth Foster 💀
Cp3 lost 13 straight PLAYOFF games with Scott foster officiating 🥶
Scott Foster should have told CP3 how JINX he was 😂😂😂
He used to be known as Pat Riley's little brother alongside another referee whose first name starts with K. The other ref has the same hairstyle as Pat even today. Scott's been in the league long enough he won't be let go that easily. The other maybe older referee that I mentioned has been another guy whose own rep is a bit scrupulous.
The NBA bailed out Scott Foster before, now they use him in Key NBA games to help dictate the outcome to benefit the growth of the league
You guys didn't know?
Yet, you dismiss the evidence debunking it I bet. Over half of the so-called "league outcomes" make zero sense and benefit nobody. Oh, it only works when it supports my argument. I forgot. You should stick to your "magnetic rims" theory. At least it makes more sense. You know those wires that turn on the shot clock? And not magnetic witchcraft?
dictate the outcome UNFAIRLY
So, you’re saying it’s all about money for them? Adam Silvers does not care about us.
@@rollingwithmooreas if fans as someone for him right? all they care about is cashflow. NBA at the end is still a business and they decide not based on fan aspirations but what can make the business more interesting.
banning foster means the NBA admitting they had a bigger probem than just tim donaghy, which aint good for their image at all
I think the fact that he is called the extender is all you need to know. The guy makes the NBA more money by extending playoff series.
This is wild man
Good video
Him and Marc Davis.
It's ridiculous. Marc David had it out for the CP3 Clippers, when he officiated it was almost a guarantied loss (I had season tickets at the time, when the refs were announced it was almost always an eye roll then watch the L).
Remember the Playoff game where Blake Griffin got a T for high fiving his teammate? I was there, who was the ref that night that called the T? Marc Davis.
Watch and attend enough of these games and you will realize the NBA has a massive ref issue that they try their best to hide. Stern knew it, Silver knows it, they keep it all hush hush as much as possible.
Referees penalties according to me: 😂😂😂
First offense: suspension and reprimand
Second offense: suspension, penalty and re schooling
Third offense: expulsion
Define "offence"
please make a video to tell us how sheesh will be the warriors this season....
I didn´t know about the link to the gambling ref. If it´s true he can´t be a ref anymore and Adam Silver should act right away
Adam silvers won’t act because he’s corrupt
i saw what donaghy did to Iverson. it's simple, the nba need this "dirty work" guys to guide the league where they feel. not every inch, but avoinding 'bad guys', like they did to iverson
This is one of your best muckraker stories. Well done! The NBA needs to take a hard look at Scott Foster, and if the facts bear out the suspicions, part ways with him!

Scott Foster was never charged but was implicated in the illegal gambling NBA REFS were doing. Tim Donaghe went to jail, but his best friend, who he weirdly called up to 150 times a day, Scott Foster. was swept under the rug by then NBA Commissioner David Stern. It's not like I'll call my gambling buddy to place bets or worse yet carry out bets for me. Hmmmm??? SMH
Oh hes from silver spring md LOL. Makes a lot of sense now.
Gilbert Arenas gave some background on what Scott Foster did to Chris Pauls kid. Apparantly he cussed his kid out while he and his friends where playing basketball. This is very personal at the very least the NBA should not allow Scott Foster to ref any games with Chris Paul
Seems like the CBA should incorporate some kind of petition system in place where, with enough players and/or coaches grievances, refs can be suspended or fired.
Gilbert Arenas explained that Foster shouted at CO3’s son in stadium car park or something
You can go and watch it
Short answer: he has dirt on the NBA.
The NBA's answer: keep him happy, keep him quiet.
This video should be titled: "How high am I reaching?"
They need to make a statement. Warriors need to have the full team get t’d up by foster in a game.
all I need to know is who reffed the la vs Warriors series last year 😭
The tim donaghy phone call issue. Clearly tim didn't call Scott after all this, because he was in prison.. duh.. No big surprise there lol. I do agree Scott is clearly not impartial though. Which no ref should ever be!
He definitely has dirt on higher ups, that’s the only reason he’s still in the league
Ahhh shit, this bouta hit harder than my j i just sparked 🤣
After a game CP3's Son was playing with another kid in the exit tunnel. They were in Scott Foster's way when he was trying to leave. He told CP3's Son to "Get the f**k out of the way" and got out and was shouting at him using more foul language. This is how CP3's Son figures into this issue. CP went to the NBA over this incident and it has been on ever since. Now you know.
