      They covered up the gambling by having Donaghy take all of the blame, so it looked like one rogue person and not a larger problem. By doing this, they covered up Foster's involvement... Who doesn't know refs today are so much worse than what's 20 years ago, we know, Silver knows, and even the refs know, but who else can you get to officiate the game? No one, they are in the dominance here, unless NBA have the balls to cut all of the refs, they can't cut any, OK maybe one or two who are not in power among them.
      And Scott Foster of all people is even bigger than that, at this point we can be sure he must have something on the NBA that is heavy, maybe enough to invoke a federal investigation that can result in NBA shutting down, Adam Silver does not even have the guts to comment on any of the Foster bullshit, and didn't we all hear about his connection with the scapegoat Tim Donaghy.

  • @jdrive03
    @jdrive03 Před 5 měsíci +12

    Based on this information, the NBA needs to have an investigation and make an example of Scott Foster. There is no doubt he is corrupt, petty, and biased. He absolutely should not be allowed to referee Warriors games.
    On a side note, I believe that the NBA referees have a union, and if anyone has ever been in management and if you’ve ever had a problem employee who somehow slipped through the cracks and gotten seniority, it is virtually impossible to fire them, unless they do something really really bad and it’s well documented. Some unions are really strong, and as their #1 purpose (Unions) is to protect workers from potentially abusive and bad management practices, unfortunately, the double edged sword is that while good employees are protected from potentially corrupt managements, terrible employees are also protected and good managers can’t fire them.

    The problem is the Refs are making things too personal. Its entertainment! Just make the right calls and if you make a mistake, own it, make the correction, and move on with the game. Once I saw Giannis get ejected for dunking on someone a few weeks back, I knew the situation was at its worst. This issue with Chris was just more confirmation. Scott has been a questionable ref for some time now because he was implicated in the referee gambling scandal some years back, so you always have to scrutinize his calls.

    I was born in Seattle in 1973, where I grew up. Sonics and Blazers fan. Japanese-American and male. I have a story about Scott Foster, from 1995-96. It came I think three DAYS after the Magic Johnson incident. I was at a Portland at Seattle game. Detlef Schrempf wasn't getting calls on offense, and he was complaining at Scott Foster a lot. He upfaked Clifford Robinson, and drew contact, and finally got to the free-throw line. Scott Foster said to Detlef, "The reason why I didn't give you any calls earlier, is because I didn't feel like it. And, I'm not gonna give you any more calls tonight." Before shooting his free-throw, Detlef mumbled, "F--ked Magic over." Scott Foster blew his whistle, "That's it! Technical foul on Number 11!" The Key Arena went crazy. Detlef was saying, "You thought that I was talking about YOU?" Detlef complained to respected veteran referee Hugh Evans, and Hugh was trying to calm Detlef down. Schrempf kept complaining at Scott Foster. To end the 3rd quarter, Detlef shot a 3-pointer, and Dontonio Wingfield of the Blazers knocked him down at the buzzer. No foul. Detlef got so mad, he slapped the floor. He then stook up, and glared at Scott Foster for a couple of minutes!

    He used to be known as Pat Riley's little brother alongside another referee whose first name starts with K. The other ref has the same hairstyle as Pat even today. Scott's been in the league long enough he won't be let go that easily. The other maybe older referee that I mentioned has been another guy whose own rep is a bit scrupulous.

      Yet, you dismiss the evidence debunking it I bet. Over half of the so-called "league outcomes" make zero sense and benefit nobody. Oh, it only works when it supports my argument. I forgot. You should stick to your "magnetic rims" theory. At least it makes more sense. You know those wires that turn on the shot clock? And not magnetic witchcraft?

    Him and Marc Davis.
    It's ridiculous. Marc David had it out for the CP3 Clippers, when he officiated it was almost a guarantied loss (I had season tickets at the time, when the refs were announced it was almost always an eye roll then watch the L).
    Remember the Playoff game where Blake Griffin got a T for high fiving his teammate? I was there, who was the ref that night that called the T? Marc Davis.
    Watch and attend enough of these games and you will realize the NBA has a massive ref issue that they try their best to hide. Stern knew it, Silver knows it, they keep it all hush hush as much as possible.

    After a game CP3's Son was playing with another kid in the exit tunnel. They were in Scott Foster's way when he was trying to leave. He told CP3's Son to "Get the f**k out of the way" and got out and was shouting at him using more foul language. This is how CP3's Son figures into this issue.
