What I really love is that it shows in previous arcs and in later arcs where Zoro seems to save Robin numerous times. I think this for Zoro was his moment of "Robin is our crew-mate" because he was the one most skeptical from the get-go since Alabasta

When she said that their mission vision became clearer which is why they didn't fail like before....it was unclear if she wanted to be with them and she lied and made them think not so they lost before...now their eyes are set on her looking her staring facing her down seeing the truth she did it for them

I love how in the anime cause of the score music it makes you feel like your luffy over the lobby staring down at it from high feeling everything raw even the wind...he is so confident at the end you feel good about this and pumped

Luffy always knows when his friends aren't being honest with themselves. He's always in their corner making sure they say what they really want. He waited till Nami asked for help. He told Chopper to get on their ship. He tells Robin to declare that she wants to live. He forces Sanji to say what he really wants in Whole Cake. We all deserve to have somebody like Luffy in our lives. And we should all strive to be like Luffy in the lives of our loved ones.

Lucci was the 1rst villian that was the physical equal to Luffy the previous hardest fight was Crocodile who was more experienced and had a powerful devil fruit, but was weaker than Luffy physically it took every last drop of Luffy's strength to beat Lucci and it was extremely close at that.
Crocodile wasn't weaker than Luffy, he just was overconfident and had a glaring weakness of water. Crocodile beat him not once but twice using his very powerful ability. That means Luffy wins only 1/3 of the time against croco back then.
@@anoon- Crocodile had better control of his DF and had more experience but in raw physical power he was weaker than Luffy.
I agree. Although Crocodile actually won against Luffy 2 times, his arrogance and overconfidence got the best of him. And, just like Eneru, he had a very clear and big weakness (moisture, in this case). Lucci was just a very strong and professional warrior, no personal beefs, no big talks, no broken ability or big weaknesses.
This is an example of why One Piece will forever be goated.
I say it every time, the voice actor did absolutely STUNNING in both sub’d and dub’d in this scene, the emotion was incredible, one of the most memorable scenes in the show

I like how Luffy makes people ask for help. With both Nami and Robin, he made them say it. He made them admit they needed help before he helped them. Luffy is an idiot most of the time but, I feel like that is important and somehow smart of him. Not even sure why I think that really , but it is important that people admit it when they need help.

Now that we have Luffy’s Backstory it makes total sense why he was down to go to war against the World Government. They “killed” his brother when he tried to go out to see and seek freedom so to him the World Government has been his #1 enemy.

Luffy knows the value of a flag...he's shown it multiple time prior to this arc.
Yet he knows that it's the government's flag and oppression is the very thing keeping Robin from being free. It's not the baddies in front of him but a bigger ideal behind them. This is why he's the true King of the Pirates. He understands freedoms and the cost they require...for the criminal Zoro...the thief Nami...the liar Usopp...the freak Franky...the pervert Brook....the weird kid Sanji..the monster Chopper.

I'm glad that Uzumaki Khan is enjoying himself but hate seeing him in react mashups. Basically drowns out everything else.
Declaring war on the corrupt WG did that really change anything up to current events in Wano, no it did not just raised luffy bounty higher he just said screw the corrupt WG, which is corrupt to its core. This reminds me of our government is corrupt.
it didnt change anything within the WG but it change EVERYTHING for Robin in that situation, since that declaration of war made the mugiwaras WGs public enemies just like robin so her not wanting them to get in danger by trying to save her was completely thrown out of that situation bs they made themselves WGs enemies.
I also think it is safe to assume that, Luffy having done this (as well as punching a Celestial Dragon) made it so Garp would not be able to do anything to protect Luffy anymore. Without those two events it might have been possible for Garp to try and convince the WG to make Luffy a Warlord (not that Luffy would accept), but now he will always be an enemy with Garp being able to do nothing about it.
