Punk AF Radio Film Anything Is Possible Part 1 'An Aussie Punk Rockumentary'

Punk AF Radio is a Non Profit radio show hosted by Paul Hammond broadcasted from North Wales in the UK.
The show promotes mental health well being and both Paul & his daughter Jessie have suffered and continue to fight mental health issues.
Punk AF has been an avid supporter of Australian punk music since the show started in 2020 but had no idea what fate was about to bring about.
In late 2022 during a particularly dark time for both Paul & Jessie they received a very pleasant surprise with an invite to travel to Australia from one of their listeners Robby Wood who said “if you can find a way to get here I’ll roll out the fucking red carpet for you”.
This late night ‘Off the cuff’ invite set off an incredible story leading to 16 bands across 3 cities in Australia taking part in the ‘Punk AF Tour’ in July 2023.
Robby Wood had never previously put on anything other than small local shows but stepped up to become the National Punk AF Promotor. It was an incredible act of empathy wanting to ‘help’ Paul & Jessie. He enlisted help from other well respected figures in Sydney & Brisbane and he himself set up the Melbourne date.
Paul had suffered a very public nervous breakdown and Jessie suffered as a consequence. To even think about travelling to Australia seemed completely impossible but somehow they did it!
This film is a DIY collection of video diaries, live footage, photographs and audio captured during the trip, interlaced with interviews from the people involved and some great music videos from the bands themselves.
It’s Paul & Jessies story of being on the floor to going on tour. It’s about 2 countries on opposite sides of the world coming together through a love of Punk Rock and wanting to support mental health.
