@@jaceks6338 this was an OK movie but I wish they added some more characters to the smuggler gang. Like I saw in the 1975 movie (Richard Chamberlain version) that Giovanni Bertuccio was part of Jacopos group. Also saw a script for a stage version where Jacopo, Bertuccio and benedetto (Bertuccio's adopted son) are all part of the same crew and that gave me an idea for an alternate universe version of the 2002_film. Imagine this knife scene but the b duo (benedetto and Bertuccio)are watching and cheering. Bertuccio: yes, fight, fight, fight, show this man who's boss my friend. Kid benedetto: oh yeah, that's what I'm taking about, go cousin Jacopo!! (He lives with Bertuccio from when he was a baby up to age 12 but separated from him to do his own crimes but comes back to the older man's life as a young adult a few years later).😢😢🎉🎉😂❤.
Stupid scene. Just because Edmond spared Jacopo doesn't mean he would be loyal. If this were so, Cassius and Brutus, because Caesar showed clemency towards them, would not conspire against him. Fortunately Dumas never wrote this scene.

I LOVE this scene!! All the thoughts and plans that run through Cap't Vampa's head in those instants, he makes his decisions wisely!
Yakobo's final statement is me when the new kid in the squad get me safely back to the barracks when I'm to drunk to drive.
For some reason, this is my favorite scene in the entire movie.
