About Me
My name is Brandon Herrera. I'm the owner and operator of The AK Guy Inc, a 07 Firearm Manufacturer based out of Fayetteville, NC. I also co-own Stark Media Group, and designed the rifle known as the AK-50.
I've started to dedicate this CZcams channel above all to have fun, but also as a way to document my entrepreneurial journey for the next few years as I try to grow my companies. Hopefully, people can learn from my example, successes, and failures.

Yeah, I noticed that the BR55 has no room for the bolt to move for it to even feed. The bolt can move back enough to shoot and eject a single case, but the mag well isn’t forward enough for the bolt to put a new round in the chamber.

the ONLY way i can think of to make a photoshop bullpup work is to make the bolt a literal telescope.
Well no, you just pay attention to where the actual bolt ends and where it cycles. If it's an AK you can cut the whole stock off and it works fine. That's why they come as folders. Then make sure the magazine goes into the same place as it should, that the gas block and operating rod are a plausible length and location, and reasonable barrel length for the cartridge and gas operation. they make actual AK bullpups, it can be done. You don't even have to cut the gun up, just change out the stock, the pistol grip is now under the foreend and the butt plates on the back of the receiver. It's harder when the design of the gun puts the magazine right where you want the pistol grip to go. Like an AR would be hard because the buffer tube limits where the butt can be. Mostly is just idiots who think that a bullpup needs to have the magazine right at the very rear of the gun, which is almost never the case in reality. The bolt needs to go behind the magazine. they make actual bullpups, so it can be done. They even get the magazine very far to the rear by putting the action spring at the front or to the sides of the bolt instead of behind it and designing the bolt carrier to extend in front of the bolt. Then you only need too leave some room for a hammer, or more likely just use a striker. I'm not sure about that now that I think about it.

Okay, I know nothing about guns, but recently I've taken an interest in gun mechanics. I still am an absolute beginner. I'd like to know why Brandon Herrera hates bullpups.
To my understanding, it was to A: reduce overall weapon length for CQC fighting. B: give the potential for an ambidextrous cartridge dispenser for left/right-handed use.
From what I'm told, this makes the weapon much more complicated internally (thus more likely to jam if not kept clean) and makes reloading while prone more difficult.
PS. If anyone knows any educational videos about gun mechanisms/gun design theory I'd love some help with my education.
So let me explain as he has expanded on his position a bit as time has gone on, he doesn't hate bullpups he hates people who bullpup firearms not designed to be bullpups. Essentially he dislikes people doing awful stuff to guns for the heck of it. Ironically this position is very odd given many of the cursed guns he's built. But hey none of them were bullpupped so there's that.

Luke Blockwalker Yeah that’s it! I know a guy that has it as his home defense option. Since it’s a bullpup it’s shorter and easier to maneuver. I’ve never shot one too, and I’m sure he didn’t really like torture test it, but seems to be trusty when clean and good.
I like bullpups because I had an airsoft Steyr AUG A1 when I was healthy enough to play airsoft.

PhycoKrusk he’s said multiple times how bullpups suck. He’s ran them in competition and said how bad they are. Ian appreciates mechanical engineering, that doesn’t mean he thinks they are good combat rifles.

There are plenty of proven bullpup rifles, such as the L85, the various types of Styr etc. Hell, one of the current choices for the US military's next service rifle is a bullpup.
Titytit Mk2 I really hope you don’t think any of that matters. I guess you think the ACR was a great idea because it was going to be the next service rifle. What about land warrior? The M4 will remain the standard rifle of the Army. Bullpups can not get past their major flaws of not being able to clear malfunctions quickly and easily, and not being able to visually inspect the chamber.

That bullpup stg 44 kind of reminds me of a gun called the wimmersperg spz. It was a prototype in the first world war. And it doesnt have a traditional gun handle that you hold onto when you fire it. You hold it by the magazine. And takes the same amunition as the stg 44 i believe.

He takes the grease that the old crated AK's are packed in and uses that as hair gel.
Fun fact about loading and firing a .50 bmg round in a 12ga shotgun it actually can be done without anything bad happening. The bullet diameter is quite a bit smaller than the bore diameter so it can't build up enough dangerous pressure. The .50 bmg brass will become a massive straight wall case from fire forming to the bore of the shotgun. There's plenty of videos on CZcams showing it plus I've done it several times just to prove it to people who have no idea how firearms work.
